Remixer Notes

n'angst is my spare time project together with a good friend. This is our very first remix work at all - and a very personal vision of the song. Hope you like it a little. Yes, we do not have many mastering skills actually, so please give us some hints for the future. Thanks for listening!

Waiting till 1.40 to get going was perhaps not a good idea if you are looking to get instant listen appeal. But a nice dark sound.

I didnt judge , belive you me i hear enough stuff, i listened to the whole thing and rated it but when you have 80 other mixes to listen to theres not a great deal of time :-)

Hi!

You asked for comments on the mastering.

In my view it is way to bright, I had to turn my listening volume way down in order not to overload the brightness reception in my ears.

I still liked both parts of the remix.

Thatz one of THE tracks I started with Peter Gabriel in the early 80's. Then I saw him live - years before Sledge Hammer - this remix is absolutely excellent - it starts slowly with atmospheres like good soundtracks, but then it bombs my brain ! Perfect combination !! Highest rate for that - keep up your great work !! Carsten

This is great. The ominous sound at the beginning gave it a nice sense of anticipation, that finally gives way to a chaotic car chase feel.

I agree that the intro may be a bit long when listened to amongst many other mixes, but on its own it works.

For a first mix this is remarkable. What a great sound from just Reason. You should check out Computer Music or Sound on Sound mags for some mix tips. If you really think out of the box and get some original ideas going you are going to shine for sure. best to you both.
