Remixer Notes
I thought I'd try a COMPLETELY different approach to this one than my previous efforts. I've always been a fan of drum and bass so I stripped it all down to just that. Then I added various background sound effects and actually read the lyrics on top of LA. I got this idea from 2 sources. One was an old Real World comp from Ireland (I can't remember the name off hand) that featured a haunting version of Danny Boy where they did something similar. The second was a Jack Kerouac tribute CD that featured all sorts of people reading JK's stuff to various cool grooves.
I almost had to bust out the black turtle neck and some clove cigarettes for this one. Don't shave for a couple of weeks (or bathe) and you'll really "feel the beat man".
Technical Information
2 eggs
3.5 cups of flour
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups blood of virgin
1 feather from a vulture with rabies
Mix steadily for about 10 mins, stopping occasionally to whisk, then pour over an evenly greased pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes, then leave in oven for 5 minutes to cool. Then enjoy!!!

It seems so simple, and that's the strength of this version. Strong and effective. What's that sound in my left ear?
huge thanks from both of you!
that sound panned left is a little tape recorder that i put in my car and recorded my drive to the corner store.
This is fricking good!!! What a good version! man, you got yourself five stars, brother!!
And I think the guy who did the danny boy version was Martin Bennett, I am not sure.
And there is also a couple of album by Bill Laswell and his group Material featuring William S. Burroughs.
This is a superior remix of Little Axe, the mood is datk and moody. The new rhythm is great, 5 stars!
Clever idea to read over the original vox.
Good job and well done.
Wow!! I love the mood of this remix a lot
Very well done with minimalism (elements). As HaveMercy mentioned <<It seems so simple, and that's the strength of this version. Strong and effective.>> Couldn´t say it better. 5 Stars
Missed this 3rd mix here. Love it, very disembodied poets. Kerouac indeed. Liked your notes too. All very stylish without trying
1 feather from a vulture with rabies, i know where this bird lives.
LOVE IT. THIS FITS WELL TO THE MOOD.
Real nice groove.
THANK´S FOR THE PORTUGUESE Words.
Roll in. to the rock n roll
Kerouac yes! With Burroughs on stage along side.
And a bit of Tom Waits thrown in.
I'll go in up to here
It can't possibly hurt
All they will find is my beer
And my shirt
Great feel,great mix Wayside.
What a voice, man!!!
I like the drums the bass the rythm, but your voice is intriguing and, yes, sexy
Nice mixxxxxxx!
One of the best remixes of If I Had My Way.
You deserved the hotpick.
This is sheer brilliance, Jeremy
Lovin' every bit of it >> WSB in the area!
Good to dance on this in the hit of the night. exciting.
Really neat! Is that your voice? Brilliant Idea! It reminds me something of the Phantom of the paradise with Paul Williams. Good British glaucous ambience with the minimum changes apart from 3 different loops. It's not that easy to captivate the audience whith two chords. I like also the "rumbling noise" and the motorcycle? passing through at 2'24
Pink floyd is back!! Really cool!
This is great. The best of your "If I Had My Way" remixes. Cool!
very moody; such a cool idea to speak with the track; nice panning.
