Vox Comments on Other's Remixes
absolutely awesome! lots of Devo vibe which makes it very danceable. i think your mixing was very clear, everything was well placed, and the arrangement was killer.
i have been battling for quite a while now with a STM remix using more tracks from the pack and it's remarkable to me at how daunting it is. it gives me huge respect for what you were able to accomplish here.
i am very glad to see you here. i can't wait for your next one!
I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!! your remix is remarkable. one of the most interesting interpretations of this song that i've heard. it's the true mark of an artist if you can approach the same "canvas" that hundreds of others and come up with something that a statement. something that is above the norm.
well deserved.
excellent remix! great funk/disco groove but still fresh and modern. one of my favorite things is your vocal rearrangements. it all flowed very well.
the funky keyboards were great, the drums were smooth. the combination of the orignal parts with the parts you added are seamless. they sound like they were meant to be together.
am i crazy or is there a cat meow at 1:07? if so you are the coolest person ever, haha
this reminds me a lot of afro celt ss. like if they were asked to do a remix of this song i imagine it would sound similiar in ways.
i can't think of anything negative to say! very good job my friend.
another brilliant remix by the spinmeister! beatifully done my friend. i agree with rustyjam, it's nice to hear an original salala remix.
incredible job!
i think my favorite part is the pitch-modulating synth you added. it's so brilliant it makes me want to slap myself.
i listened to it on headphones and it does rock that way. GREAT job with the panning. you really get a sense of the physical seperation and placement of the parts.
great use of the bass-synth from the pack! i never would of thought of using it in that way. it adds a pulse but lays nicely in the background.
the flow is good and arranged well.
5 huge supa' stars for a great remix! it was well worth the wait!
very very cool synth groove. great call on slowing it down. it sounds great.
great use of the record scratching!
did i hear a little peter gabriel snuck in there? a bit of his vocals from blood of eden?
very nice mixing. everything is leveled and lovely. it has a nice simplicity to it which brings out parts that were otherwise a bit buried in the original.
beautiful job. very pleasant
nice chill space groove. it has a very personal feel to it. the flow was great and kept my interest. i particularly enjoyed the "tapping" sound throughout most of it.
very cool remix!
spinmeister, this is your synths speaking. we are not pleased and will seek revenge very soon!
a very fresh, "airy" feeling mix. great work with the vocals. i love the melody and harmony alterations. the call and answer sections are brilliant. great job with those.
great call on the BPM change.
what can i say that hasn't already been said??? just when i think you've amazed me beyond comprehension you come back and prove that wrong. i'm in awe. i'm in complete awe. hold on one second. ok, sorry, had to wipe the drool off of the floor!
you are masterfully talented. your mix will go into my comp picks and will remain firmly there unless otherwise bumped out by yourself!!!
wow.
wow.
i am having a hard time with this one. the mixing is great, the parts are great, the arrangement is great, the concept is incredible!
my only issue with it is it lacks an organic/natural feel. and i think the only reason that came to my attention is the style you're going for is a very organic, natural, eastern type of mix, but everything sounds very artificially generated. normally it wouldn't be a problem but i think for this style of mix it stands out to me. i honestly hate giving this criticism because i love the mix so much, but i want to be honest.
either way, 5 well deserved stars.
positively etherial. a very VERY talented and inspired mix. it was insane and beatiful. i would love to be more critical of this but i love it. 5 stars!
thanks everyone for your wonderful kindess
. i'm sorry the quality is so poor. i had to upload it at 128 kbps because it was getting too large.
hernine - thanks! it is fun with headphones isn't it? just don't get dizzy!
essesq - no problem! i'm glad you are still able to appreciate the stereo fun.
RizkeyG - very cool! then you can enjoy it even more than i, haha. very very much appreciated, thanks my fellow alchemist
Susy1214 - thanks! if anything could be said about this remix, it has variety! haha
Thukol - always happy to hear from the talented italian! you always act from the heart so your praise means a lot
OXXO's great listening skills pointed out the hum that is in the mix. that is purposeful. i added a hum and a crackle. why you ask? because it was there to do, haha
oh my goodness i love this. incredible spin on the original. the chord progression is so refreshing. it actually feels good physically to listen to it! i know i'm crazy but it's true. the mixing is incredible. well layered, well planned.
you've drawn out an incredible sadness here and that makes me very happy (there i go being crazy again). i think my favorite part is the cello/bass part.
this remix is also very textural. i'm going to make you see the texture in your music if it kills me
texture i tell you! it has texture!
i want to watch a david lynch movie now
AWESOME! absolutely fun and well done remix. it almost tinkers on disrespectful, haha. that sounds like a strange thing to say but i mean it as a compliment.
loved it. wish i could give you 6 stars.
lots of killer killer grooves, beats, loops, etc. so many different parts and it all works in a cool way.
excellent!
the music is very beautiful. the guitars, whistles and harmonica are awesome. very relaxing and make for a pleasant listening. it was nice listening while reading your story, i thought it fit very well.
i would have to agree with some of the previous comments of a few of the vocals but i liked most of them there. it was just the odd one here and there that felt off, but for the most part i thought it was cool. i particularly like the layering of FX vocals at parts.
lovely!
OTTIE IS BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER! amazing remix my friend. i would like to first agree with spinmeister and say that the atmospherics over the driving beat is SO GOOD!
i think your composer skills give you the advantage here actually. i do agree with our "best friend" L-D that mixing is composing but i think that a composer (one who does compose original music on a regular basis) approaches it from a different perspective.
with so much you have going on in the mix it never felt cluttered to me. not once! so high praise to your newly acquired mixing skills
. you did a great job.
the delayed, multilayered piano parts that come in the last part of the 3rd minute and through the end of the song are amazing. perfect way to end the song. 5 very huge starts and this has been added to my favorites!
ANALOG HEAVEN! as always, top quality work. very nice use of all original tracks.
you're extremely talented doc. it's a pleasure to have you on this site!
music by the sea. what a beautiful idea! hehe
a very great idea. when i listen i feel like i'm having a nice beer in a humble island bar overlooking the sea while some international musicians are playing some nice music from the stage. very pleasant to listen to.
i'm happy to see you're trying different tempos! it's great that you're expanding your horizons.
great use of the chimes and percussion. it was very complimentary.
i will send you a PM with some suggestions
i'm hearing a lot of beatles "revolution 9" here. just as a comparisson, this is still very much it's own.
orignal tracks stretched and violated. a genuine stir of emotions.
i'm so impressed!
brilliant! chaos in the kitchen! very fun, insane, clever, chaotic. talk about a brain screw! my ears are still reeling from the hard panning.
no name, no bio, somehow the data portion of your remixer page is missing. curiosity abounding!!!
had to give you 5 stars for this. it was just too much fun to listen to.
ooooh, jazzy and chilled. nice work the the pitch changes.
@ susy1214: yes i think there is some "shock" swimming around in there
clever!
awesome percussion!!! nice marriage of the original synth-groove with latin rhythm.
excellent remix!!! so well done. i wouldn't know where to begin with something like this. very impressive.
five gigantic stars!!!!
BEST INTRO EVER! wow! very very cool.
great use of reverse tracks.
a fitting part 2 to the series. it's a much better chill mix. to continue my previous comment, in the soundtrack of my life this would be the song i listen to on the way home from a club or show. after a long night of fun and loud music i still want to listen to something on the way home but something cool but chill.
you're quite talented
as always, you rocked the house! i really love your style. i'm listening to this one first since it's 1 of 2.
the guitar work is amazing. great layering and interaction. and a great ending!
in the soundtrack of my life, this would be the song i listen to after i get off of work after a hard day and i just want to turn the speakers up to 11 and hit the accelerator for the entire way home.
great job, 5 well deserved stars
another "signature" loveshadow groove! i salivate in awe. one of my favorite things i like about your style is how you play with the vocals. you slice and dice them like the samurai chef. this remix is a great example of it.
top job!
i have no idea on half of what you're talking about on your notes
haha. i'm of the "i play the red guitar" mentality
first i must say i love love love the repeated "tap" that almost serves as a click track. very textural. and i just like how it sounds. i'm kinda weird about audio textures and it's very appealing to me even though its such a simple part.
the build is very good. very gradual, very well done. the piano parts are lovely. there is some pleasant dissonance at times. then a lovely resolve.
great job!
this is my favorite of yours!
there can be advantages to not having a big musical background but still trying to make music. it causes you to not worry about the "rules" and not worry about what you're "supposed to do" and just make music for the love of making music (and fun!
). it's simplistic, but not in a child-like way (which is still beautiful but in it's own way) it becomes a very primal expression of the human spirit. raw musical connection!
what i like about this mix specifically, it makes me look at the music visually. i see a level plane laid down by the drum beat and a few of the repeating musical parts. then on top of that plane is layered other entities that live individually, but not separately, from that plane. they basically have their own timeline, their own "little world" in which they swim triumphantly over the rest. i wouldn't consider them "off" from the rest. they're just different from the rest.
i wouldn't consider this mix the pastings of an inexperienced remixer, i would call it avant-garde!
i really enjoy your remixes and all i ask is PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a remix of the new joi pack! i think you would make some beautiful remixes of that song.
POLKA YOUR EYES OUT BABY!!! i think the world needs more accordian.
ladies and gentlemen. he can speak in acceptable human dialogue!
haha. very nice L-D, you got a good laugh out of me. it's nice to see you have a sense of humor.
criticism is not an enemy here, but we strive to create more "light" than "heat". tough love doesn't always work when you don't actually know any of these people personally. you don't have to suger coat it, but you don't have to beat them over the head with their own headphones either.
but thanks for the very nice comment L-D. i was much appreciated! and funny
it seems the vocals were at a different tempo than the rest of the music, or at least seemed "off" in a sense, which gives it the whole mix a sense of tension; but i don't say that as a negative criticism, i say that as a compliment!
the tension causes you to lean closer in and listen, and musical tension can be extremely useful.
so as a listener, you feel this tension that in a way seems soothing, and at the same time stirs you up inside. then this beautiful flute (or whistle?) part comes in and draws upward pleasant feelings of bliss. i really enjoyed that part.
personally, i like everything that's already there, however i feel it's a little incomplete. it just needs a little something more to piece it all together. like the expression, the "icing on the cake"
the cake is there, and the cake tastes GOOOOOOD, it just needs a little icing to make the experience complete.
enjoyable remix!
hahaha. what a fun remix. soooo funky. i'm very impressed.
give us some new ones! i want more!!!
i really loved the idea of slowing it down. it really does sound cool that way. great chill mix. i particularly loved the cello pads. quite smooth.
i'm really hoping the pink pig wasn't a metaphor, haha
first off, the groove was excellent. that's very very important. i really liked your use of the guitar sample throughout.
the change-ups were perfectly timed and executed. and the drums were FUN! it's not often i could describe a drum part as fun, at least that's not what would usually pop into my head. but your different beats were cool and then you'd slide in a tastefull fill that was well timed.
oh, and the synth-groove was grooooooooovy. loved it
keep them coming!!!
wow! i'm blushing!
thanks so much everyone! i'm very touched by your lovely words
who the hell is this L-D fool and why is he/she posting in vernacular? it's a shame people like that bring their stink to beautiful places like this.
great remix Ottie. i really enjoyed it. sorry about the garbage. keep it up.
so cool!
mr. needlebalm was very hip. i see a bright future with this guy
great job.
wow!!! you never cease to amaze me!
gorgeous remix here. your remix affected me emotionally. a very pleasant place indeed
i have to agree with HaveMercy on the 'Come Talk to Me' comparison but i think it's cool because of that. very nice remix. lots of fun to listen to
the break at 2 mins is very very cool. great job.
as always, excellent remix loveshadow!
very cool!!!! great idea. the vocal treatments are all very tasteful. your remix really does bring out the subtle elements of the song.
a pleasure to listen to. thanks for uploading
great job, and huge congrats on the VERY VERY FIRST JOI HOT PICK! that's gotta be a great feeling.
keep up the good work
i really love the repeated breathing in the beginning. nice touch. and the reverse vocals at the end was a great way to end it.
good remix!
lovely remix! i think i like it better than the original!
i really love the additional handdrums. sounds like a djembe?
groove is one of the most important things to me in music and you nailed it here. great job
that would be THREE hot picks in a row! do you work at realworld?
seriously though, great remix. it gives a great dynamic to the song!
BEAUTIFUL remix! lovely to listen to. this should be in a soundtrack!
2 hot picks in a row! that, my friend, is impressive!
another great idea. the horn action was very well done and the bass is swingin'.
great job!
i think the idea is brilliant. i absolutely loved the idea. the music is great and i don't think it was too over-crowded at all.
my only critique is the vocals just don't fit. the change you made for the vocal melody is awkward and off-kilter. it really spoils the idea. i think you would've done better to keep the original melody and just build everything else around that.
but i loved the idea!
very cool idea. it was disturbing yet comforting at the same time
wonderful wonderful wonderful groove! you can dance to it, chill to it, drive to it. i would never have thought of that beat. very cool!
the guitar riffs that come in about half way through are very cool.
the breakdown after 2 minutes is awesome. what is that thing that comes in at the very very end? i love it. great way to end it!
awesome mix. i love the intro the most. the haunting piano is a lovely addition as is the very atmospheric background keys.
the build is great. you can really feel something coming "around the corner" but it's a pleasent suprise because you don't know what to expect. when it does it's a pleasant arrival.
the groove is very nice. laid back and funky.
a great listen!
back now. AMAZING! i'm so impressed words cannot describe. gave the 5 stars, added to the favorites, had the title tattooed on my forehead. not much left to do! seriously, i'm blown-away. wonderful work.
slathering of praise aside, i had wanted to do a similar idea of combining all the remix packs. that will just not be possible now. i couldn't even attempt it. thanks a lot!
i don't know what to say! dear god! what a work of brilliance!!! they really need to add a smiley face for these comments that has the eyes wide-open and jaw dropped.
i just don't know what to say! i need to come back.
wow! it's all over the place and yet somehow cohesive. extremely creative! a pleasure to listen to
really clever choice in combining the vocals. i really think they blended beautifully. lovely work!
excellent re-invention of this song. the layering is amazing! and the vocal loops you created with the voices totally rock
beautiful mix doc. excellent use of verb and delay on the vocals.
what's the "grindy" bass-type thing you have that comes in about 2:20? very very cool. i'd like to know what you used to creat that! very cool!
Adrian Sherwood would be proud. brilliant remix doc. absolutely, without a doubt, one of my favorites of this song.
i had to add it to my favorites. already on the repeat.
very excited to hear more!
absolutely loved it. great dub style. i totally agree with formula51 on the appreciation of the length. spinmeister is right as well but when i get on this site at work i tend to let the remix roll and go about my work so i get to really move to it. i let the groove just sink in.
excellent work with the slide guitars.
loved the guitar parts (almost bagpipes?)
the international fusions here are wonderful. very tasteful.
very fun. great for dancing!
very well done
Thukol you rock!
what an amazing remix! i'm not sure if that's a violin or cello but it was incredibly haunting. it absolutely made the song. the arrangement is very good, the instrumentation is very good, the variety is very good. i am very impressed!
i've already listened to it several times. the background vocals you bring in after 2 minutes is very beautiful. and i thought the "get out" part was just fine. if you hand't of said anything i don't think i would've even realized it was vocals. it just sounds like a cool sound effect.
i wish i could give you 6 stars
a HOT PICK well deserved.
incredibly dream-like soundscape. i found myself being drawn into this world. when i started listening i was doing a few other things and almost immediately, and without thinking about it, found myself slowing to a stop and staring blankly at the screen. not in a numb sense, but more like when you been awake for a few hours and you suddenly remember a dream you had the night before and for a few minutes you fall back into that dream and re-live it while still awake. and after you've been completely enveloped in the dream then BAM! you end it with the shot. then you look around and realize you've been in another place for a few beautiful moments.
i really love your use of the breath through out the mix. very nice touch. and your use of the slide guitar is inspired. i fought with myself to include it with mine and hearing what you did with it makes me wish i had left it in. i can't believe you're new at this!
and the spliced bass work is very well done. the whole vibe of your remix is lovely. i had to add it to my fav's!
if i had to offer any criticism i would agree with Loveshadow about the flow from one scene to the other. but you're mix is very well done so no worries.
i loved this one even more than your morning mix! had to add it to my fav's. very nice job
really enjoyed it! nice mix to chill to. great job
very nice groove. original idea!
i love it! i don't speak portuguese so i asked a girl from my office who is from Brazil to translate my comment for me.
5 stars!!!
Absolutament linda esta musica. O arranjo foi muito bem feito e as partes adicionadas ficaram incrivel. Eu realmente gostei muito do que ouvi. Muito Obrigado por postar esta menssagem na website. Voce tem muito talento.Bom Trabalho.
absolutely brilliant. a very clever idea. the Gene Page treatment was class all the way. i started craving a scotch on the rocks as i listened. if i could change one thing, it would be for you to take the Barry White idea a little further and drop Skips voice down a bit it pitch. not over the top though, just a little to "bring out the Barry". that would been dead sexy
i was born in 1975! haha. of course the thought of my parents getting it on to Barry White. nooooo!!!
5 starts for brilliance
i definitely 2nd Synthetic1 on the "We Do What We're Told" mood. probably wouldn't have thought about it on my own but i can hear it now.
really liked the industrial. dig it!
it's got a very "spooky" feel to it, but not in a cheezy way. if i could say one thing i really liked about this that i've not heard as much in the other mixes of this pack, the chord progression you chose really make the melody feel entirely different. it really pushes it in a jazzy direction and away from the blues origin. i particularly thought that was remarkable because i thought the blues aspect was so ingrained on the original that it would be rather inseperatable.
nice job. i've given it several spins and have really enjoyed listen to it. kudos!
very dramatic! nice job with this one. definitely one of the more unique mixes of this pack.
like it much
omg. what a great idea. the bagpipes were FREAKIN' COOL! and the gunshot's/background noises were very clever and nicely timed.
the snare roll-offs were very cool. the whole thing sounded like if "Bullet the Blue Sky" was done by YAZ.
nice stuff! i love the very tight rhythm section. the bass groove was VERY cool and the drums were well done. everything had a very close, personal feel to it.
great job
i REALLY like the break-beats. i haven't really heard much of that on other remixes so it was nice to hear.
your concept behind this is great but i think it's a little too sparse. sparse is BY NO MEANS a bad thing. but i felt the direction you were taking the mix needed to have a little more "sumthin'".
but the beats were cool and the bass groove was killer.
i love the highlighted guitar. very good call on that. the occational re-arrangements you did were tastefully done.
have you looked at the new service pack for "If I Had My Way" by Little Axe? i'd really be interested to hear what kind of treatment you give that.
and i checked out your studio picks. sweeeeet studio mike
i really liked the spaghetti western idea! very clever. and the guitar work is brilliant.
the changes were outstanding! i love love love how you added the organ "stuck-note" panning. very swirly. it took that part from a good idea to an awesome idea.
the whole thing is a great trippy atmospheric mix. i also love the treatment you gave the background choir.
5 stars!
i've been listening to remix's on the site for a few hours now and have been getting a bit numb. then i came across your mix and without knowing started rocking to the beat. i loved the "sqeaky" (for lack of a better term) back beat part. it really makes the rhythm dancable. i don't love the synth towards the end. i love the analog synth sound just didn't feel it fit with the rest of what you were doing. great mix though
i really like how you used the vocals. it definitely stood out from most of the other mixes. i wish you had brought them in a little earlier though. but the remix is very nice
great dub job. the ghost of marley is strong with you
really awesome drum groove. very textural which as we know is a big thing with all of PG's stuff. i love how the bass groove fit's so snuggly in the keyboards. i really like the use of double-time drum rhythms when the rest of the instrumentation is slow moving. it gives a very nice contrast.
your wife's voice is wonderful. perfectly suited for this style. it kind of reminded me of a lot of afro celt stuff.
the pads were very good. very pleasant.
great job AL. one of my favorites of yours
huge thanks from both of you!
that sound panned left is a little tape recorder that i put in my car and recorded my drive to the corner store.
very transient, myserious. i absolutely love stuff like this. i love what you did with all the vocals and the atmospherics are great. i had to give you five stars. very enjoyable mix to listen to.
i have to agree with all of the bass praise. tony is truly the man and it was a brilliant idea bringing his part to the front. very nice
i agree with spinmeister that i wish there were a little more vocals. but the mix is really good and beautiful. i really like how you brought out the AFRO in the soundsystem.
haha. wow! what a cool remix. the synths are bad-a$$ and the guitar is killer. and i love the break-beats. very very cool
very good audio textures! and a great spin on the vibe of the song. enjoyable to listen to
i loved it! very soulful. the horns are a VERY nice touch. they both work with your mix but they are done very well.
that's bad a$$ bleach! the intro is very very cool. the low, whispery vocals. the whole groove is great the the synth riff is very cool. and i love the outro change up.
oh, and I LOVE THE TITLE YOU CHOSE! haha. good stuff
ACHTUNG! per SPINMEISTER's suggestion i re-did the mix with the original vocals back in it. as in the non-pitch-lowered-spawn-of-satan vocals. and it was much better! it was a great idea and it really turned out well.
i uploaded it last night and it is called "Slightly Less Demonic of Days" and you can go to my remixer page to hear it or this is the direct link http://www.realworldremixed.com/remix.php?remix_id=7Epmr6LwzLvf0QGO
let me know what you think!
i don't know what you put in there that has that "trickling" sound (for lack of a better word) but i love it. great job!
amazing amazing job. it's so uplifting and fun. it really makes me want to dance. and i love the "record scratch" ending! that would be the part of the night when the clubs hoppin'. everyone is on their feet getting really into it,dancing like crazy. then you end it with that abrupt ending and they all go "awwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!"
i know you were worried about trashing the vocals but i thought it was charming. i mean come on, after listening to 1 gazillion mixes of Shock the Monkey even PG's voice started to grate! (yes yes. it's not sacrilege to say so). and as wonderful as LA's voice is it's nice to hear it done completely differently. and the arrangement was ABSOLUTE top-notch.
what an incredibly fun mix! it was really fun to listen to.
incredible! i'm thoroughly impressed. so peaceful. so enchanting. i'm blown away. i flutter in the wind. the beauty of art. the experience of texture. i'm touched.
a fellow backwards track fan! what a great idea. very well done. this would've been great on the Twin Peaks soundtrack!
excellent groove and the changes are very well done. it somehow stays true to the original but really doesn't emulate it. the layering is very tastefull.
Thanks everyone! In response to spinmeister. I duplicated the regular vocals to another track and then dropped the pitch on that one. Then I kept both vocals tracks for most of the process and would experiment with keeping them both in the mix and then taking one out. I kept being drawn back to just using the lower vocals. Partly to contrast the choir vocals sharply, and partly because it really forces you to listen not only more to the lyrics, but to every crevasse of his voice. And his voice is so incredibly rich and textural I wanted to bring that out.
One of the things that struck me was, even though I kept everything in the original tempo, the sparse drum beat coupled with the lowered vocals really makes it sound incredibly slow. An Audio illusion perhaps?
Oh and yes, I also laid down the fuzz bass and noisy guitar parts. Too much Bauhaus? ![:-]](smilies/embarrased.gif)
beautiful mix. very very enjoyable to listen to.
nice laid-back groove. the looping delays are very nice. great job of making the song your own!
incredible! very unexpected. your arrangement fits the vocals very well. when the percussion kicks it it really reminded me of Dead Can Dance, especially when the female vocals lead in. i'd buy your album
i really like the field recording intro. nice touch. and the lead in to the mix is nice.
i absolutely love the groooooovy repeating bass melody. it really rocked with everything else. i can see the "rainy mood" coming through but i regard that as a good thing. lots of melancholy. when the bass drops out the drum loop slides in nicely and keeps the mood appropriate. i dig
this would be the part of the movie that our hero starts to breakdown from the incredible pressure of the "conflict". beautiful tension!
I like the tabla being so dominant in the mix. of course i'm a huge tabla nut so of course i think that. but very nice arrangement overall
very lovely to listen to. its hard to listen to so many remixes of STM and they not start to bleed together. and your mix still really got through.
absolutely enchanting
i loved the nod to IYE with the piano part. your "neck and neck" paring of the male and female vocals is extraordinary. they just weave and weave and weave.
very "squishy". i really have no idea what that means, but thats the word that comes to mind. i could VERY easily dance to this. and i can't dance!
it's amazing how much of a positive feel you give to what is otherwise a very dark song. it feels very energizing and refreshing. i still cant get over how you accomplished that! nice
you know, i love the music on this so much i'd love to hear this as an instrumental! its a gorgeous piece. would be a great soundtrack
i liked the feeling of tension with the vocal melody, not conflicting, but almost fighting against the chord changes. and the layering of the different vocal parts was very well done.
i really like the combination of everything. reading over your other comments (regarding the vocal pitch) i personally thought it was cool. it gave it a more "live" feel. your arrangement is clever and compelling. great job!
the remix is very well done. it's not quite my "cup of tea" but kudos to the great job you did with it.
excellent! the beginning really brings out the "natural" element of the songs latin flare. then the change up to the bass-groove is very tasteful. i wish i could drive to this mix!
very well done. peter's melody fits suprisingly well with the groove. and the groove is great.
incredible intro. plus very nice arrangement changes. top notch all the way
very nice arrangement. the change up on the 2nd verse is brilliant.
