Susy1214 Comments on Other's Remixes

Great! Brings out the mathematical potential of my brain. Smiles, too here!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Great jazz feel!:-)

Ohh that's nice! Reminds me a little of Metcalfe. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Always interesting. Good to hear from you again. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Great! You could play around with the chords too and this would also sound great. Nice work in the middle. Made it very interesting. Great beat. :-)

Oh my gosh. I just played this again and could hear some beautiful cello at the end. Remember.remember .remember and rewrite. Always so hard to go back after hearing a part as it happens.

Great to hear from you again Maxwell!

Lovely!

:-)

Hello Grandbrother's,

Intro is lovely! A very creative and original remix. Wow. you have a great style and your months of work has proven great efforts with this remix. I love everything about this. Congratulations!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Thank you, Trevor! :-)

Nice work! Great work with drums and variety. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Mini themes, all interesting. Lengthen the themes. Percussion is too simple for you your creative efforts. Very creative!:-) :-) :-) :-)

Great mix! I like the percussion the best. The bass needs a little bit more syncopation for reggae. Really nice harmonics and balance. :-)

You really have the spirit here! Great counterpoint, piano is nice, great beat.:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Hey nice work! Hobo Hot pick here, too. Nice chords. :-) Nice bass.

Cool. I would just add a few bazaar semi-tones in yet here and there just to throw it off a little!:-)

This is a very difficult song to work with melodically and you have done well above standards for remixing it. I haven't even attempted to remix this (thank goodness, right?) This remix does deserve 5/5. It's very filmic sounding and would go well with a portion of film that maybe is emotionally troubling. Music to capture an emotion. Hard to do and you very qualified for finding the music for those moments.

Galactic Sound! Going into the upper atmosphere now to enjoy this musical delight!:-)

Love it! 5/5. Reminds me a little bit of Orbit. Nice work!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Mischief, curious, and intrigue combined for a film adventure. Are you doing film music? You should be. :-)

Aspiring remix with a totally new direction! The "hobo" moving upwards!:-)

Nice work.love the creativity here!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Vocals sound lower which sounds a bit pulled and out of whack.

Just ok by me. 4/5. A little bit to familiar. :-)

Happy blue ocean water wishes here and sunshine sounding. :-)

Nice work. Whistling could be louder. Nice piece. :-)

Creative efforts here merit a 5/5. Way to be expressive. So many remixes are much to simple with lack of originality but this is an example of what a lot of thought brings to the ear. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

So original and such personality and style that I think this is a 5/5 for sure. Nice work. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Pretty nice mix and editing. :-)

Change of introduction which I like. Nice transitions. Film style. Very nice. :-)

Interesting. Sort of reminds me of Kraftwerk alittle. :-)

This is what remixing is all about someone like you comes along and does something so great!:-)

It is pretty basic but it gives sort of a flight experience if there is such a thing! Coool! Love to fly! Great job!:-]

I like the title, too! Sweet!:-x

Nicely done You You! :-]

Very well constructed. A little heavy metal but in a very interesting manner. Susy Hot Pick here!!!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Sounds like you had some fun with this. Get up and dance!:-)

Pleasant chords and a rich feel. Glad to hear from you on this. 5/5

Nice. 2:30 section is awesome. :-)

Lots of neat ideas here. You did an awesome creative process here with the chords, I like the ending too which really could work I think 2:15 almost makes an interesting introduction, too. 5/5 for sure. Hot pick from me!:-x

Fantastic!

Very unique and very well thought through. I like the precision of the rhythm instruments. :-)

Still looking for a place to relocate Hancher after the flood. Also the music building where I spent my first year of college studying music is waiting for an answer for a permanent location. What a flood that was in 2008.

Sweet and a very interesting distinguished interval chosen that reminds me of a happy game show! :-)

Now this place is finally waking up. Great!:-)

"Mmmmm.that's nice.":-)

Good to listen to while grinding some numbers, too! Thanks!:-)

Awesome, I like how the vocals stand out. Such an interesting melody.:-)

I should give you just a 1 but I give you a five. A one because my God, this is beautiful alone and shame on you for not making this your own song structure with new lyrics. But a five because yes it does go together beautifully. Another verse would be great with your own melody line though. :-)

You get an A on this project. Nice counterpoint. :-)

Quality engineering.:-)

No it is not interesting to me. It is very frustrating and it's happened on two of the packs. Oh well. I just tackle this for fun. Nothing too serious. :-)

Tuba would be great in this. Do you play Tuba?:-)

Just so everyone know I did rate this but only gave it a 1 for effort!:-]

That is nice. Makes this site sweet to come back to. Five of five. :-)

Nice work nice chords structure and percussion. Should have been a hotpick!:-)

What tune did you want to merge with? Just curious. Love and Passion? Odd yet maybe it worked. Tell us more!:-)

Repetitive game style!:-)

I just came back from a bar and it really would be fun to play some of these remixes as a joke for people! Wouldn't it be funny? So many people do not even know what a remix is! :-]

Is this really in 6/8 or other meters, too. Very nice and very technical in tempo, accents are great! I think I overlooked this at the time of selection. :-)

Cool synth add on and and percussion. :-) :-) :-) :-)

Interesting how you changed the chord structure. 80's TV love story them song now!

:-] :-)

It's nice but it's very much the same.

Dissonant like the relationship. I think they should should have gotten out of the house and on to the dancefloor of the disco down the street and danced the night away!!!:-]

Nice start! Keep adding more!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Lovely at 1:35! Pleasant work and thank you!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

You have some talent. I like the part at 1:30. 4/5 Nice work!:-)

It would have been nice to have had you join us on Noderator's experiment! Great production!:-)

Nice work with the upper voices. Feels like the sheets are about neck high! I wonder what happens when you have sheets off and put a little more bass drive into here? Try it!:-] :-)

Geez, nice sound.Hot Pick from me!

NIce work! :-)

A very interesting remix with much transition. :-)

Rizkey,

Wonderful remix and great balance, feel throughout the entire piece. The transitions are smooth yet refined. Super work and congratulations on the "Hot Pick", too!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

That's cool! I love the chords in this and tempo! :-)

@2:28 to 3:07 very nice!:-)

I would love to go to Crete someday!:-)

Thank you, thank you!

ha ha ha.it makes me laugh for some reason or maybe it just compliments the Leinenkugel's Berry Weiss I am enjoying at the moment!:-]

When the Levee breaks.lots of of Led Z. style here. I had an earful back in the 70's! Super work. :-)

Loverly work at 1:18!:-)

Try taking your headphones off and play it for the cafe so that we get more listeners here in the Real World!:-) :-] I like this and keep the coffee grounds in motion and five from me for a super beat. :-)

Oh I wish I could download this!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Wonderful rhythms and counter harmony. :-)

Pleasant and sound made me think about getting out an accordion for some reason. Which would work, too and be fun!:-]

There's something about GarageBand and the panning capabilities. Interesting singing, tell us about it please. Chill elements in style. :-)

:-) Sweet!

I guess I didn't really comment above did I? So, l had to listen to this a couple times to decide if I really liked it and then finally I decided! It's great! :-]

:-)

:-)

Congrats at #2 place this week. It would be exciting to hear this performed with the orchestra. :-)

Now in 2009 we are still accessing the damage from the flood of 2008. Fundraising efforts have already begun and even the in today's new the Joffrey Ballet will be donating towards the restorations of auditoriums through ticket sales raised. :-) A welcomed effort!

Just hear this on radioremixed. Really nice. :-)

Sounds great. Some of your jazz influences such as Chick Corea are somewhat characteristic in this. Fine work.:-)

"Twas pure chance" :-] Have to really feel more than think when that happens.

Nice start. Seems as though everything is the same volume though. :-)

I like the horns in the beginning and to go into a "march"? Wow now that's different. You should be scoring music for sure! Outstanding really. Five from me.:-)

:-) Thank you Mog05! :-]

Awesome!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Sorry I didn't hear this earlier when it reached this site. Super work people!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) Clear sound and well designed.

Style in itself. Creative. :-) :-) :-) :-)

Nice composition. 2:12 is nice add more please. Also like 3:05. Very nice sound. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Fine work!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

It's nice to hear some bass here. Percussion is interesting how you panned it. Great!:-) :-) :-)

Nice start. Certainly you are putting some effort into this. Sounds like the tempo is working great and congrats with being here. Welcome!:-)

True above on Colab the expert here! It is a very unique intro that is very much appreciated. :-) :-) :-)

NIce overlays and transitions that are smooth to the ear. :-)

That is nice!:-)

Actually meant to say I really like this.:-)

Very interesting. :-)

Congratulations Studioalpha, I know you put a lot of great effort in this production. Personally, I think it should have been #1. Thank you for your efforts and best wishes!

Susy1214 :-)

I love the guitar and the beautiful ending.

Nice but somewhat centered in a lower percussive frequency range. :-)

Awesome:-)

This is by far the best! Would be great with a fireworks display!:-)

Lovely!:-x

That's smooth, tasteful and very fine. Quality sound.

Thank you!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Pleasant and warm musical tones and soundscape. Nice design. :-)

Just as good or better than your other version. 5/5:-)

I was going to let whoever else gave there rating first comment.

Meistro Studioalpha tis a fabulous work! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Crisp and articulate, great bass!:-)

Light, enjoyable, sort of jazzy. Great!:-)

I like the intro and I like the your vocal and composition at the end. Harmonies are unique. Track vocals are too loud and not in sync. Your vocals could be brought out more. Great work and you have much improved and your skills are developing much! Way to go!:-)

It has a very tight feel. Repetitive distorted bass could come down in volume from time to time or change somewhere in the piece. :-)

Trouble with the vocals and beat again. Also I notice every time you make a change it happens on the first beat of the measure. It starts to become anticipated and is rather repetitive and sort of makes the listener become lazy in listening. :-) :-]

I think you have some very worthwhile work here. Percussion is interesting but does not always move with the vocal track. Anyway your had fun and there's room to grow from one of your first remix efforts. I think the most interesting part was around 6:19 to the end. Sort of like a musical patchwork quilt. Pieces of different ideas in on remix. :-)

DOF The Edge of TIme? I like that just as much or more! Also a favorite of mine.

And yes this should have been a hot pick! :-)

Super introduction with all the chord progressions and strings! Change up at 2:32 is great. Super production!:-)

THis sounds so familiar and something I have heard before maybe? Nice work!

Susy :-)

Really fine, just might add strength to the bass to balance and length to the piece; a reprise. :-)

Maybe PG Real World Remixed may market these songs for a penny a song instead of .99 to make up the difference on the penny to the dollar! Penny stock songs! Pennies from heaven! Hope you find your work soon.

Hang in there and dance, dance, dance!:-)

A labyrinth of hand crafted musical style with doors of intrigue to add curiosity with.

I like this remix one because I think this compliments the vocal part of Kate Bush. Also I like the composition extra you have added in a very traditional and comprehensive way. Truly a hot pick really! 5 stars here!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Clear production with clear engineered sound. 5/5:-)

Yes, nice work with the bass. :-)

I like the intro. When the melody comes in I jumped out of my seat almost though. :-]

You have some nice elements happening here. I am experiencing the same tempo problems in matching the 96bpm tracks into Garageband and have given up. But still you are brave and congrats on your remix keep at it!:-)

Sweet work! Tastefully created. Delightful. :-)

I found the strings quite interesting. Pizzicato strings at first seemed out of range? How high is that? Cool!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

So. I just need my theater popcorn with this one. Please make a movie to go with this or actually almost broadway sounding! Excellent! Winner for a contest for sure if there is one this is it. Awesome. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

ooooo.nice!:-)

:-) :-x :-) :-x :-)

Nice mastering and full sound around. :-)

Familiar elements. Great job! Like it! :-) :-) :-) :-)

Cool.I was hoping someone would change the whistling melody and you did creatively! Short and sweet though you should do an add on. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Very nice. The thunderstorm start and the drums from the distant are perfect together. If this were in a competition now I would add it to my favorites!:-)

:-)Clarity and precision sound:-)

Funny! Reminds me of when my brother would irritate me and play terrible songs on the piano that brought me to tears. :-)

Funny that this is the very first remix I listened to here! How's it going?:-)

and gals!:-)

Interesting:-)

:-x style!

:-)

Creative process starting for you. :-)

Really sweet. you brought your own personality through. :-)

It is good but it's lacking something maybe an imperfection! Good work. :-)

Sorry, but I do not care for the lowered vocals. :-(

I like 1:18 to end the best! Pure and very clear to the ear. Nice beat, reggae style. :-)

I would love to do more composition some day. Thanks. Peace to all! :-x :-)

Reminds me a little of something you might here "Stomp" perform with the industrial sounds.

Congrats on your first remix here.

This remix has some great design to it for sure. I was wanting to hear more even!:-)

Exactly what I was wanting to here for a reggae style piece. Great work! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I just love that counterpoint part that you bring out here. It is interesting how the combinations of tracks brings out a new harmonic structure. Nice work and way to be creative here. :-)

Wow! Beautiful work. The two styles really compliment one another to make an integral remix. Your efforts are outstanding for the Spanish style combined with Toure' style are so tightly interwoven. Very Nice. :-)

Thanks for the dedication. Nice drum section midway. Cool work, great energy.

It's nice but it's so much like the original. :-)

Mitosis I the college composition piece sits on a shelf here at my home. It was a handwritten piece with all parts and score in calligraphy. :-)

Beautiful indeed!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

If I vote for this could it actually be preformed this way? Would you be bringing some brass? I take it you could play the piano part?:-)

I would just love to hear this performed with Daby in Amsterdam! Good luck I'm voting for you on this one!:-)

Nice arrangement and maybe it would sound better all in instrumental or is that too much like Muzak? :-)

It's a great contrast the "rock-culmination" . Like it! Your voice is great too! :-)

Soooo. do you like Vince Guaraldi? Similar to the music from the wonderful little comic illustrations of Peanuts. So. much a favorite of mine, and George Winston too a little.

But.tis your work, too. Brilliant! :-)

Who's beautiful voice is that? Very creative. Made me laugh a little though in the middle. Serious and tranquil for the most part. Very cool work. :-)

Thank you above! The longer version is going rather slow. With other things in life and new remixes to listen to along the way it just seems to slack off for me. I find that when creating music there is a time when it just happens and a little when I have to do something the creativity does not come as fast. :-) :-]

Dear OXXO,

Very sweet. I love the counterparts you created in the beginning, which is something Daby is very great with in composing. You seemed to capture bits and pieces and embellished them just a very little but in a very tasteful way.

A very intricate detailed remix. Keeps me listening the whole way through and little subtle surprises tempo wise and your clever use of space makes this very entertaining, too.! 5/5:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) Your best ever here for sure!

This would be such a neat song scored for high school jazz bands for competitions. Maybe Daby could do that for the young people. The melody is so unique. :-)

Nice collection you have going here. Maybe more seasons to complete it? :-)

Could actually be preformed this way. Very creative. :-)

I would have hot picked this one myself. Very nice work. A world them with much respect. :-)

mmmmm quality for sure!:-)

Mellow chill feel. I would bring the vocals out a little louder. I just thought this is a great way to learn the pronunciation better to sing along with! Thanks. :-)

Just wanted to make a note about this remix with GarageBand software. The vocal tracks did not have much option to change the panning elements from left to right. Whether that was configured in the mastering or just an element that didn't adapt well with GarageBand, I do not know.:-)

It's a super configured remix except I was expecting to hear more brass and funk rhythm like the "funky" style of that similar song title. Here "folky" does works fine, too and blends better with the original piece.

Great work embellishing you own music into the song with vocal and instrumental add-ons. I like that.

It's nice you kept it polished and the amount of work put into this is reflected. 5/5

:-)

I like instrumental qualities in sound, nice and clear. Maybe the vocals could find an open clear area from time to time to focus back on the artists unique sound quality voice within.

Really nice composition and style though. Love the bass and drums!:-)

Thank you! Have a great "remixing day today!:-) :-]

Cool, and smooth, very mellow with a "chill" direction. Guitar is sort of predominant and I am hearing more layers underneath that need to come forward more at times. :-)

Thanks for the forum wake-up call to this. Excellent work!:-) Congrats on the Hot Pick, too!:-) I like the "Hey" you added, fun.

Thanks everyone! Longer version is in my mind if I decided to get busy again is another time to wait for. I find I get most inspired when I get in a real quiet place of mind so I may really listen within.

:-)

Great improvement! Way to go and keep at it.:-)

Chill,jazz and with spirit! :-)

Thanks, Tethia :-)

I hope to hear a new remix from you soon. A longer version might just happen!

:-)

Jazzy, distant chord progression. Some of the chords at the chorus are very different? Very different. It's flavorful like drinking a champagne at the club room. Bravo!

:-)

Thank Pipipi,

Synth Bass loops in this and gave it a little bit of "wet" effect sound to it. Nothing special but I did like the effect added. Just using my ear a lot and what feels right. :-)

Nice, but I do like you other remix of this better!:-)

That is an interesting point, Loveshadow.

The cd gives me some insight. Having seen Daby in concert he often explains his songs. Me remembering the words in English or other has always been a challenge because my ear is so geared to the music.

Anyway. thank you and the feeling for the piece after hearing the band in concert came quite natural. Have a feeling go with it, I guess.

I just enjoy when it happens it feels good. You know the feeling, too. I'm sure. Get busy we're waiting for you next remix as always!:-)

:-) Unusual and unique.

I like the minor key. Sounds fine to me and the mood you set is very wide and open to the changes of style created for this setting of style. :-)

Hello,

Thank you for your kind remarks, Macro, Lanigans and Sevvy.

It is such an upbeat mix so that makes it better for me to work with. So many things in my head that this came so fast I thought better send it on in.

I know I could work on it longer and I might just do that.

Talk to you later!

:-)

Looks like the song is able to play now!

I like this it has sweet heart and soul feel to it!!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-).

Okay I am going to put my thinking cap on. Ready, Set and Play then Listen. No not a sound Marco. I know it's a little early here for April Fools jokes. Which by the way is one of my favorite days! See what happens on the Real World side I'm sure they will figure out what we need to do to fix it.

In the mean time let's think real hard about what we think it should sound like and see if we are right!

Looking forward to hearing yours, soon! Susy1214

:-)

Keeps the mathematical side of me going!:-)

Light, refreshing, new, very smart!:-)

:-) Creative!

I always like the intros with the perfect fourth. Also, interesting to add the extra interval in synth intro of a 1/2 step. Aha! Clever.

Drums are great.

:-)

I love the beginning! :-) Very talented sound.:-)

Always so interesting and creative, dreamy and finely woven. :-)

Polished and articulate remix. Favorite part is 2:19-2:42.

Enjoyed much!:-)

Finally, something different. Thank you! Perfect and a little cartoonish and fun. I would love to see a cartoon video with this. 5/5:-)

Whoops! If forgot to rate it 5/5!:-]

Sounds like a winner with a little bit of an "ego". But, that's sometimes what it takes to win. I would add a little "space" and develop the bass, rhythm and your key changes as so many that I sort feel like I'm climbing stairs to find a tonal center. But I like it! It's a very high tech music experience. Far better than I can do. Thanks for listening to my tune, by the way! Haven't been very productive lately but do like to listen from time to time.

All the best,

Susy :-)

Very creative! The only things I might suggest is change the dynamics more.

I like it though. A little change up in the drums is nice, too. Cool ending!:-)

Thank you Andreas I think I should have added an extra star. He's right keep them coming because your experimenting with sounds right now. Musically, it will improve. :-)

First here with the new remix pack! Sounding cool. :-)

wow.5/5!:-)

Well it's wonderful Real World!

A story for you and the Webmaster's reappearance to the Top Twenty - (also taking place the week of Groundhog Day), here goes and I hope you enjoy!

Once upon a time, in the land of the really, really remixed Real World there was a webmaster who after a long winter's snooze came up from the cold, dark winter. He awoke from the long winter's sleep amazed at what he had discovered by reading forum upon forum of his lack of duty. Surprised too, he discover that there were many, many remixes that had not been listened to, remarked upon, nor even voted upon. Tuning his inner ear to the listening mode again with his tuning fork, instead of the snooze control feature of his peaceful winter, he became busy once again determined to help in the process of updating the Top Twenty chart. At this point a groundhog appeared asking him why these songs have not been updated weekly? The webmaster was surprised because the groundhog was speaking in fluent French and he speaking English mostly, knew very little French. He had thought the groundhog had asked him instead why there had not been a better wine selection made the other evening. So, confused and disturbed by the lack of good communication and startled by each others shadows, which by the the way were reaching across the floor to the other side of the room; ran back to his den to begin six more weeks of slumber.

Suddenly, the webmaster was awoken again. What was he hearing? A new remix! Yes indeed. A beautiful new remix that was being played for the first time. He rushed to his computer where music was now sounding forth through his speakers.

Perhaps the music was from none other than the world famous remixer, "Loveshadow"! Speedily, he ran to check and sure enough a recent remix had been sent in. The webmaster's mood lifted dramatically, and in minutes he was dancing around, wide awake beginning to feel like his old self again, laughing and enjoying his tasks of updating the Top Twenty chart once again. Something he had not done for weeks or even months. He was not even a bit sleepy anymore and with just a few clouds outside and little or no sunshine filling the room, there was not a shadow to be seen to scare him. Joyously, the webmaster became absorbed again in his duty to update the Top Twenty selections on a regular basis and for the rest of the Winter; the webmaster did not go into hibernation. His diligent duty of updating the Top Twenty became his priority. There was a good indication too, having not been scared by his shadow, that an early Spring was now in the forecast. It was enough for all the people here in the Real World to relax and enjoy with for the rest of the Winter.

On the subject of our Mr. Groundhog, from the early part of this story; enrolled in a variety of English courses, became very well educated in speaking English and delivered seminars on the topics of self-esteem and overcoming the fear of one's own shadow. Mr. Groundhog has written many books now in 100's of different languages for many people to read. His recollections includes too, the good results about our wonderful webmaster!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Also far from home to me, but maybe this brought Santa back to the North Pole faster than the speed of light!

Sorry, a little to distorted for my liking.

Sort of simple rather than jazzy to me. Nice handmade chords and percussion parts. :-)

I like music that is different. This is great, great key changes. :-)

Great comments and should be off to the top twenty! I like!:-)

It sounds familiar! I like it!:-)

Splendide

:-)

The chords are great this way! Jazzy and fun.

One of the best I have heard. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Spacious, tranquil and the background smooth long overtones is creative. :-)

It sounds like pretty big shoes coming through here!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-]

Sort of miss the nice brass created towards the ends. I know this is a long song and it's easy to divide it into two parts. I like the rhythmic jazz style towards the end and finally caught your brass synth again around 4:32 nice! (Susy the once brass player), so the anticipation of the brass coming back again really ties the whole piece together. Nice work and salsa feel. :-)

I always enjoy your comments, Rizkey. It's 11:00 am and I check my comments! Can't wait to see what I inspired in you!

Thanks OXXO, just in a winter wonderland and thank goodness for a mix pack to spend a little time with. Not too much though since it is a little addictive. So, my time is limited to a few hours usually.

Let's try to wake this site up again out of hibernation! Brrrr!

:-)

Nice remix and commentary.

Very interesting and introspective.

It's interesting that you have taken lessons. I have to admit it is not that easy at first. Good that you did that.

Great to hear your first remix here. I like the layers you added and harmonies in the vocals, an interesting texture. :-)

Very interesting bass. Needs a little change with the beat perhaps? I like the tonal structure, very awesome. Could use some fine adjustments to breath with. Like I want to take some big breaths with all that continuous beat?

Good though! :-)

Hey! I think I can almost hear "jinglebells" with this too! What a cool idea, OXXO!

Tis the season to be jolly!:-]

Crisp, clear, articulate and percussive.

Wishing you a perfect holiday season!:-)

Merry Christmas, too! With a toast to the piano player. Thanks for the lovely music, Joe!:-)

Some very beautiful music at the introduction and again at 1:51 with such contrast. I like the theme you chose. A for theme with and variation. :-)

A happy sounding piece with minimal use of vocals. Drifting into wide open spaces. :-x

Actually, the more I listen to this the better I like it as is.

:-x

I like everything except the tempo of the vocals unmatched to the rest. Great intro.

The chimes are an interesting embellishment but as an ostinato pattern it seems a little repetitive. Pop sound of the seventies that reflects a style in itself. :-)

Oh to have Melodyne to work with. I sort of hear a latin mens choir theme in the background. I like what you did here. :-)

Too bad you weren't in the Frankmixtein piece. I think you would have liked that.

Style changes but an underlying theme is prevailing and very film style ending.

Your personalized talent shines through to the end. :-)

Most interesting 1:54 to the end. Enjoyable!:-)

Hey that is a unique intro. Different.:-)

Clever bass line; articulate and well matched style to the original. :-)

Very interesting introduction. I like the unusual emphasis of the beat you have chosen. Your placing of accents makes this interesting and keeps my attention. Creative work.

4/5. :-) :-) :-) :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) Timing is great!

I just wanted to add too that this has an outstanding ending as I listen again. Really quite beautiful. I love the length of the final note. It is just a perfect amount of timing. :-)

I like the combination of timbre, choice of rhythms and bass. Classic works. :-)

Nice!:-)

Great start, keep at it, love the rhythms, and dissonant harmonies coming into the scene. Maybe stay with that unique structure a little more cause it's very unique and gives a spacious feeling yet to be developed. :-)

One of your best ever You You,

If I didn't know this was You You I would almost guess

Loveshadow, but not quite.

Now that would be fun a competition and we won't

know who's who. maybe it's You You or maybe it's

Me, Me. that would be fun, too!

Besides all this congratulations for a great one from Me, Me!

Critical side of me says to watch the tuning to the vocals at times.

:-)

Nice work and I just want to note that this was one of my favorite remix packs to work with. I was able to really tap into the creative side and the rhythms seemed to work quite well with GarageBand. :-)

Well, that was actually sort of the truth, Mr. Fusion.

Thanks, A little atonal side of me. I had so much atonal music in college. Sort of take me over now and then. Thanks for the comments!:-]

Congrats, Colab!:-) Nice work!:-)

Congrats!:-)

Congratulations!:-)

Congratulations! :-)

I could hear you adding some bagpipes, violin and a very nice development with upper vocals. A lot of room to grow here and an excellent sketch that keeps growing. You have the touch!:-)

Still think this should have won something. Don't give up!:-]

It's nice to hear some new chords come through. Pretty talented combination of some dark and light tonal surroundings. I like!:-)

Great work with timing and Garageband. Pretty polished sound. I like how you transition. Cool ending!:-)

Creative!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Nice hand made quality!:-)

Orbit like? I like William Orbit. :-)

I enjoy a good half time intermission show with football, watching the marching bands and the drumline. So my imagination takes off with a Real World Remixed half time show. So, just a portion of the show for the crowd to stand up and enjoy with. So kick back and relax and take it away drums!

:-]

Interesting. I feel though that there could be more bass and tonal center added. Very atonal piece though if that's the objective. Congrats on the Hot Pick! :-)

Tethia,

Congratulations! You did fight the battle and look at your great results.

Cymbals are nice I like the volume.

I think you have created a wonderful remix.

The song and style is on the experimental style and very unique. Very awakening style.

Keep up the great work!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Susy

Has a very "electronic" surge sound that makes my hair stand up! I like 2:07 to the end the best. Cool work there and it feels real calming and relaxing at the end. Nice!:-)

Nice integration from one style to the other. Combination of the original fits well with jazz style and solo work. Jazz styles really compliment the vocals. Great!:-)

Interesting remix almost two works in one, really. I like the jazz funk feel through the last half. Way to be creative here.

Sounds like a real music machine in real motion.:-)

Reminds me a little bit of Debussy in the undertones, timbre and color, and tonal center. One of my favorite composers. :-)

I like the idea about the Mixing Masterclass forum. Headphones vs speakers depate on limited budget remixing. Just working with Bose speakers from the iMac and Bose noise reduction when remixing.

Thanks SimonG!

:-)

So.so.so creative!:-)

Sort of past me by in my busyness. This is a real gem. :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Great fit with the original.:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I think you stated the best part of of this in that yes it is fun. Congratulations on your first remix and keep at it for sure! Super drums. :-) :-) :-) :-)

For me it just seems too far apart from each other though exceptional style you have, that is for certain. Yet a 5/5. :-)

I like everything about this. Best I've heard yet. 5/5:-)

Much interesting material and all very well designed into on piece. I like how it "flows" from one section to the next. And the water concept is great. Talented work here. :-)

:-) :-) :-) A little choppy.

I can't believe that this has been listened to 46 times now with 3 people rating and no comments.

I will comment!. Cooool feel. Super work midway through, too.! Keep up the good work, Kenny!

:-]

:-) :-) :-)

Tastefully made and very well designed.

Beautiful and creative music and theme. Very enjoyable.

Great balance. Very professionally created and very well designed work. :-)

coooool.!! 5/5 Do you score for jazz professionally? If not you should. :-)

Very, very creative. Nice work! To not listen to the original and make a remix takes a lot of will power. I find this quality of musical style a very intrinsic approach. 5/5:-)

Enjoyable, jazzy style.:-)

I really enjoyed remixing with the tracks of this beautiful song. Really nice work with this. I really like that you brought in the accordion with adding some traditional work to the remix.

Congratulations your first version remix of this song and best of remixing to you. Keep up the the great work! :-)

Very nice work and very enjoyable.:-)

I think I would have named this "The Labyrinth" though and by the way I did give you five stars for the record!

Nice personal touch added.:-)

Creative with a very distant style from the original. :-)

I like mood and jazz undertones. :-)

Nice work and harmonies incorporated with punctual timing. 5/5-)

Cute and fun, very original. Where's the Hot Pick crew? On vacation again probably. I will give you a Susy1214 Hot Pick award though.:-]

That's style!:-)

I am going note that I really did not take the time to adjust volume levels on this. I really need to take the headphones off in order to do this.

Like the harmony, wish I knew how to do some of that!:-]

Pretty high tech, Benny Bear! 5/5:-)

I enjoy the underlying tranquil theme. :-)

Thank you Schras,

One of these days I'm going to have to learn how to place that umlaut over your name. I knew how to do it once but have to learn it over again.

The echo and reverb on the percussion was the most rewarding part of this piece to work with and the sound reminds me sort of like loud fireworks! Speaking of which will be happening in my area shortly. :-)

Thank you, YouYou ! A great pleasure coming from you. :-]

Thanks for the honesty Maxwell. I agree too about the distortion. The name of the remix was suppose to be and totally my fault, "Turning The Wheel" to bring the industrial feel in. Sort of happy to get this off my hard drive and was in a hurry so it came in as "Tuning The Wheel" as if I'm in to cars or something! Sort of funny.

Then I was reminded though of the old fashioned Tuning pitch gear or pitch finders so the title worked for that also. The round wheel with all the pitches where you blow through it for the various pitches often used in choirs.

I noticed there has been so much discussion on tuning. Electronic tuning and all the different programs of software. I wonder if there is a specific software just dedicated to tuning between all the software programs.

:-) :-) :-) :-) and :-) to grow on!

It sounds better dynamically.

Chords, harmony and structure are very well flowing, emotion is conveyed. Nice work and the ending is a different and quite unique. My only personal suggestion would be dynamics could be a little softer in places. Nice work, Joe.:-)

I wanted to add too, that this sort of reminds of a popular theme song for a soap opera show maybe called, "When Our Days Have Been Clocked".

More seriously, though I like how you combined the two vocals together and the great instrumentation. Very creative.

:-)

Amazing! A totally new sounding song with a totally new chord progression. :-)

:-) A big sound. :-)

Cool sound. :-)

Not as in "sharp" or "flat" either. I just realized that may have come across differnent. Sharp as in "striking or clear". Hope you speak English because translations are difficult, I know as a fact. :-]

I was going to add too, What type of gear do you use? Sort of curious sound pretty sharp. :-)

There is something I really like about this remix. The contrast, the intrigue you have create, the tonal center off center is refreshing. The beats, syncopation, lightness and rhythms.

This is something that has presented itself as a sketch here and could be further refined. Yes a few notes in the vocals are maybe out of the tonal center, but that to me isn't a problem. My goodness there's many notes that haven't fit exactly to the tonal center through music history.

I will still say 5/5 for creativity. Keep up the good work and hope to hear more from you in the future.

:-)

A beautiful work, serene, peaceful, and a lovely ending.

:-)

Very very nice remix! I like everything about it.

I was fortunate to hear Angelique and the band last Spring. What a concert. People were on the stage and in the aisles dancing. Such energy and music.

Keep up the good work!:-)

Ok.I have to agree with Loveshadow too on this. It is a worthy hotpick. Seems like there's a been some strange hotpicks around here. Like running to the candy store and so happy to have a piece of candy but can't wait to go home to have it. This one is a real treat and. and that last bite seems to make so much more sense now. You know what I mean it's like a whole piece of the original pie. What to go Maxwell. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I like the feel. Creative.:-)

Update on the weather here in Iowa-Flood of 2008

Many of you might be wondering what is going on here in Iowa. That's is a good question. It is the Flood of 2008 and I am sitting about twenty to thirty miles in between both Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Iowa City in a village called Amana. I live on the hillside with the Iowa River Valley just a ways away where I can see the valley covered now with water. This are fine where I live although the crops were planted and even though a portion of the crops here in Amana are planted in the flood plain we will hopefully get something out the crops still.

The greater concern are the neighboring cities and towns and there has been a great amount of help and volunteers in bringing everyone together to sandbag. The next few days we will have water cresting and then hopefully all will go back down again. Then a big clean up.

So, that's the weather report and now back to better weather ahead I hope. Last night it actually hailed and this morning there was still hail on my deck! Very very, strange weather patterns for Iowa.

Better weather to come ahead. I hope to listen to more remixes again soon. But pretty busy now helping out where I can. Take care!

Susy :-)

Best at :48 quite smooth, silky sounding and pleasant. :-)

Thhhhhh that's cute.:-)

Creative, live sounding feel. Nice.

Fantastic. great transitions, interesting range of tonal color, beats and sound harmonies. :-)

I like the beginning. That would be a great ring tone. Awesome tempo. Would like to hear a little more accent on the first beat. Really creative though. :-)

Great piece!:-)

Wow. nice development.interesting material that keeps me interested to the end. Great!:-)

Kind of reminds of throwing a whole bunch of fruit in a blender to make a smoothie! :-)

That's nice, Thank you!::-)

Sodiesarin, that would be wise words of a visual artist that in way makes sense to me now looking at the whole picture now through your eyes and ears. Best to look at it a "whole" rather than the little fragment of time of a particular sound. :-)

All the comments from each of you are very, very much appreciated. No one has mentioned about 2:09 so far. I'm not sure what happened there but it sounds a little distorted. Possibly someone else might now what that noise is in there. :-]

Style is really laid back and nice texture, rhythms fits the relaxed title for a comfortable rest on a hammock. :-)

Very good sound quality. Nice tight sound. :-)

That is great that you wrote everything down. Sounds like you have great experience with the sound engineering aspects. I the countermelody you created. Starting to whistle it now, in fact as I listen. Nice work!:-)

Thank you for the kind words. The storms were in Iowa. Now it's back to sunshine again.

Hey Loveshadow,

Really nice remix! Great to hear from you again. Puts me in a good mood your musical style. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) -Susy

Sounds great! :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Very nice with piano for sure!:-)

Very solid! Great remix.:-)

Interesting counterpoint in the strings. Almost enjoyed that more than the rest., but nice incorporation then into the rest of the piece. :-)

Apnea, so cool, original, and very creative.:-)

Fine work, enjoyed much.:-)

This being one of a thousand for you and a very good one indeed. :-)

Great strings orchestrated into the introduction and vocal melodies.

Nice to see this as part of an assignment because it is a great educational way to learn about remixing, composition and music.

I think it's a 5/5 or as in your case a 4.0!

Very nice remix!

:-)

Nice percussive sound coming through. I experimented a whole piece using only the percussion. Quite an awesome sound.

Great to listen to your work and I hope to hear more from you in the future.

:-)

Nice work and reflective piece that brings out a little melancholy. You really bring "feeling" forward with your piano.:-)

I like your remix very much. Alluring, dreamlike and one of the best I have heard for this song remixed here. Would have like to have listened to more than just the 3:22 though. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Cool work again. :-)

I like the unmetered feel and interesting spectrum you have created. :-)

Energetic! :-)

Enlightening piece with some vocal highlights that play back and forth with each other in a fun way.:-)

Sounds great. Reminds me sort of like something you would hear at the end of film perhaps for the credits listings. A little lengthy but necessary. :-)

Great introduction, nice and serene. Great harmony, rhythms, bass textures, etc. Sounds very complete with a lot of depth. You have some music knowledge you are applying. Great!:-)

Nice work and sound here. :-)

Babastank,

I don't think it's messy at all really. You gave it a powerful beginning and really some nice harmony added. Drums are classy!:-)

And I I agree with unicorn83, too! Great beat added and mid section is interesting. :-)

Nice remix, Wolf Dee! Dream feel and nice continuity throughout. :-)

Remarkable mix of style plus original style included from within. :-)

And sounds very great together. :-)

That's interesting. :-)

You packed some musical luggage here with some great stuff! Talent for sure. Great work, Altrove!:-)

That's where I should be right now.

Thank you. I appreciate your view point and I noticed too there was something a little busy between the two. It is a very different piece going from major to minor so often in chords, too.

Appreciate your view J Erskine. :-)

:-]

:-)

Very experimental sounding.

I much agree with the above.

Comfortable sound and I like the low bass purring.

:-) A remix built in a day! Nice structure.

:-) Pleasant with contrast.

Quality if so clear. Like crystal clear water!:-)

Now that was fast!:-]

I think you have some strong emotion coming through here in this remix and have an artistic intensity showing through your music, which is good.

:-)

I guess I've always have sort of liked cow bells.:-)

Creative remix that is for sure. Ending has a whole new element and could be something totally even. Guitar is awesome!:-)

Hi Greenhill,

Sounding better and better really. Nice additional tracks and interesting textures created.

Jazzy, funky and creative. Enjoyed the new modifications in improvement. :-x

Much heart for sure.:-)

You are quite talented and very very exciting music here. Sounds like a film quality. :-)

Just had to add this Mr. Ritzkey-

The spring birds are just moving into the area here. I just love to listen to the spring bird songs. And there was a very special bird that made the sort of "wew" sound that you have going here in the song and it reminded me of your remix.

Now I wonder what kind of bird that was.

"Wew!" :-]

Thanks Joe and Maxwell. Glad to have you back here again. Hope to hear more remixes from each of you soon again!

Thanks for sharing insight with me. You know you always help me to improve.

:-]

Not very excited about this sorry. :-]

I think this would have done quite well in the contest. Too bad it wasn't ready earlier. Well designed and nice chord structure, rhythms, spectrums of tonal range. Good ending. :-)

What a beautiful piece and what emotion conveyed. Took me across a wide open land in thought and color. Thank you for sharing, HaveMercy and enjoyed much. Glad to hear you again here, too.:-)

Greenhill,

You found my weakness in the jazz funk style here! Great piece and there's some remarkable twists you bring out very unique to the jazz style with a remixer quality that is very clever and fun. Great how you mix the traditional instruments of the original with the funk jazz style. World music style in itself in this jazz category.

5/5

:-)

Hi Ritzkey,

Super quality remix. Great beat and countermelodies. 1:30 is really nice with the framework of the beat. I have no problems with the contrast with the vocals and the beat. It fits together in a peculiar way but very unique and enjoyable. Really like that countermelody.

5/5 and glad your here again to give some quality work like this.

:-)

Quite an extraordinaire piece.

Hey, what am I doing here?

Thanks folks.

@Native all with GarageBand just me an GB

@Shock The Monkey and Dano- yes I did have a little trouble ending but somehow it ended and that was a relief too. Thought it was going just keep on going for awhile.

- heard some cool pickin' over the weekend. Live and that banjo and extra guitar riff would have been just great to add.

Thanks for the comments! Hope something new comes out soon to remix.:-x

Very organized material with lots of neat rhythms, intervals and counterpoint. :-)

Hello Naturalinferio,

I will have to agree in the very beautiful harmony and key.

Super great work and keep it up, you are great here.

:-)

Cough, cough, excuse for being late here. Getting over a terrible cold. More ice and snow in my homeland.

Anyway. very introspective piece here. The flute and piano compliment one another quite well. The remix vocal track with this is somewhat unusual yet very unique and very interesting. I tend to remix on that angle too at times. This would be something I might listen to on "Chill" channel on Sirrius. Very good work and progress here. Thank you and enjoyed listening.

:-)

Excellent first attempt! Super bass and lovely work with the piece. Enjoyed much. :-)

Intro is catchy. Interesting chord progressions a lot of room for more development, too. Maybe more with the female vocal track. But still nice work and 5/5. :-)

Congratulations to Greenhill for #1 for this week!:-)

Outstanding remix, Pegasus. :-x

@Tethia Thank you, favorites even, fantastic!

@Pegasus Thank you, only wish I could play acoustics!

@Greenhill Vielen Dank!

@Altrove Thank you, wonderful analagy.

:-) :-]

It's great!! Grooving away listening to this!:-]

Ok is this really Greenhill? If so that's a quite an improvement. :-] Fun!:-x

Yes you were inspired! This remix pack is so awesome to work with. I enjoyed remixing the song much.

Great harmony and imagination, creativity and drive!

Susy1214:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Vinni,

Nice work here. I welcome the day again hearing another thunderstorm after one of the most awful winter's here where I live. Snow, ice and more ice storms. Anyways. Just the coolest song here and exactly what I wanted to hear today.

Keep up the groove and great ideas coming through. You are gifted here for sure!

Susy1214:-)

Nice jazzy feel. Percussion sounds great. :-)

:-) Tempo and timing is great.

That's okay. It will be interesting to hear the improvements. This nice!:-)

I believe you made some accomplishments along the way. Repetitive percussion. Nice ending. :-)

Chilling remix.

Pleasant remix. :-)

:-] :-x

Maxwell, you have created a funky jazz band style arrangement here. Your talent shines through one again. 5/5:-)

Strong powerful work.

Creative work. Vocals are for myself a little overpowering. A very compelling feeling of oddity which surrounds this person in her new environment. Inquisitive feel and peculiar. Not everyone may offer this and you have a real gift for creating that in your music.

Very well organized material.

So many interesting elements. Very industrial feel.

:-x

Great addition of a cow bell. I love cow bells on cattle, too.

Anyway. cool remix. I started working on this remix pack and I think it's great and you could dance away with this one, for sure. Keep up the great work!:-]

Experience and creativity shines through. :-)

:-] Go Garage Band! Sounds familiar the beat. Great sound. :-)

I think it's great! Nice combination with the vocals brought back to the natural sound midway through. Creative work really. Bass is heavy, but the breaks help. Title is catchy, too. 5/5 :-)

Lots of anticipation to 1:21 and your bass interesting bass line. Very creative. :-)

Interesting elements, soft harmonies and the chime sounding bells are great. Helps my headache today too!:-]

Take a big breath and anticipate the next phrase. I find I'm holding my breath on this one. Psychology of music with what is heard and the brain.

Interesting for sure. :-)

One of the best I've heard. :-)

Live and mellow sound, jazzy and very cool!:-]

Thank you soundwrx that is quite an compliment. I love Solsbury Hill and really this is probably not anywhere near close to that but a very generous comment.

:-]

You have all the interesting elements, a very free style, and if you want to add rhythm on time that may or may not help here. It's nice the way it is. Fluid feel. :-)

Some very interesting finishes. Remixing is a lot like how designer finishes a wall and with this you may have a nicely finished product or maybe one to many layers. I think you have a nicely finished product here. :-)

Great depth! :-)

Nice work! Lots of edge and rhythmic drive. Catchy intro. Lots of upbeat rhythms happening. :-)

Glad to see this here again. Listening again I may almost hear a cello line added. But that's just me. Still very beautiful and the piano counterpoint is simply inspiring in this production. :-x

You kept with some traditional countermelodies and harmony. A very blended remix to embellish the original song. I like it. :-)

This is great and very relaxing to listen to. You are talented for sure. :-)

Opening doors with this approach. Clear and concise. Like walking through different rooms in a big house. Great remix.:-)

Nice sound! :-)

Much improved, still I feel you have more to convey. :-)

You You has a point about time but I feel you were going for more of an abstract work here. Combine the two together and yes you will have something different. Complex maybe which may be very enjoyable, too. Enjoyed this much. :-)

Wonderful ideas flowing. Maybe a heavy sound yes but very enjoyable!

:-)

I can just see that little hamster running in a little wheel maybe exercising a little more for the new year! Possibly trying to lose a little fat.

Fun, Babastank! Charming remix. Keep up the great work. You liven the place up here an believe me we need it.

Thanks,

Susy1214:-]

I'm glad this was brought to the top twenty this week. Again. another great remix I missed along the busy way. Very, very exquisite work. Thanks for sharing!:-)

Quality remix! Awesome intro. Lively!:-)

Nice soft feel and a very beautiful remix. I enjoyed it much. Thanks. :-x

Sweet! Love the beat and style. :-x

Super sound!:-)

A little distortion coming through but still a nice remix and great tempo and feel for the piece. :-)

Amazing!:-]

Bass is very "wow" here. It sure make the piece very interesting and works into the more upbeat section. Makes me think about a whole bunch of colorful fish in the sea. Deep and very intellectual feel. Nice work, Tethia! Great ending. :-)

I have now just trashed "Part of Sen 2" because of the maximum number of tracks allowed and the software locking up on me. I guess that is just way it goes sometimes. I think that is now twice I have overloaded with too many tracks.

Thank you for visiting!

Happy Birthday for you. How nice and this is super because it is actually also my birthday today. So, I am listening to this and being a trumpet player I of course love this remix.

It's so strange that I did not see this at first and came back to listen to some of the one's I missed. What a great surprise at the end of the day and something warm up with in frozen Iowa. Maybe it well help thaw this ice away!

:-] Beautiful work Maxwell. Who played the trumpet? Sounds like a live track. 5/5 :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Fine work for "rough" sketch. Your remix work has a great amount of energy and this is very enjoyable to listen to. :-)

Quite original, complex and very unique. The piano maybe could be just a little bit more in volume some how to me maybe. :-)

Don't know how this slipped by but you have a great sound here. :-)

Great energy feel you bring through your remix.:-)

Remarkable remix. :-x

Just what a like. Love the harmony on the vocals. Beautiful and very space dream like feeling.

This would be great for a film. :-]

Keep up the great work! Five for sure for this introspective and interesting remix.

Beautiful! Where is the "hot pick" crew? I think this is a well deserved 5 and then some.

Outstanding work here and very enjoyable to listen to.

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

It's another awesome "You You" remix!

Exciting and captivating. Wonderful1:04 to 1:09 for introducing the remix pack in a fun way!

You are great here! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) Dance.It's great recreation!

Super work with the added drums also cello and violin. You have a gifted "feel" here for with the music. :-)

Very original and the jazz blues beginning is great.:-)

I feel those nice waves coming in and around 1:07 almost can feel that wave in water!. Wonderful remix with splash! Five for sure.

:-)

Cool and nice feel in the intro with the drums and effects. Gentle yet very much defined and emphasized. Very fine work with this.:-)

Fantastic! Sort of reminds me of horses running wild across the prairie. Wouldn't change a thing really.

:-]

Nice transition and harmonies, dynamics and rhythms that work well together. :-)

Tantalizing, stunning and very beautiful. A little late hear on commenting but this is outstanding work. I remember hearing this and then actually hearing something very that Fall outside with the fall leaves playing a symphony in surround sound.

Hope to hear from you!:-)

I have to agree with the cut off word in the beginning. Back to start again. -] Otherwise you're grasping a lot that's for sure.

Nice. I almost thought it as going into MixMeta4's remix. And that happens when everyone is using the same mix pack at times. We're bound to have some similiar phrases.

But everything blends well together and has a nice mellow feel. You chose to emphasize more the tonal structure. I wonder what would happen if you chose to check out some other tonal areas? Just an idea. Interesting chorus added.

:-)

Rock on with style! Great drums. Interesting added vocals. Great creativity.:-)

Thank you for your generous comments. I have already started now on Part of Sen 2. Which is sort of exciting for me because I haven't had a continuation like that before. See what happens. It's fun. No doubt about it.

:-):-] Happy remixing to you all and thank you.

Fun sound! Great intro. 1:06 is great with flute solo and vocal backings.

Very creative work and all very well planned together. :-)

Gee. I missed this one earlier and I just heard it on Radio Remixed. Beautiful. :-)

Cool beat. Contrast of the low bass and strings is nice. Great balance of ideas.

Keep backing up and iMac has some great backup programs. I wish you the best in future backups.

Great remix. Don't give up.

Great work with combining the two remix packs together to create sort of a new "birth" feel here. Something very unique here.

I love the elements you combined to create such a electronica type remix plus the spontaneous sound with drums creating a "live" feel.

Creative work! 5/5

I like the percussion you included and the emphasis on beat one makes it strong sounding.

Great work with balance and dynamics. Emphasis towards louder at the chorus dynamically is good structure for this song.

Good work!:-)

Upbeat and fun sound. :-)

Very nice tempo. I enjoyed the change at 3:00 also around 4:00 adding strings in.

Great remix but I feel there could have been more elements drawn together to make it outstanding. :-)

I think this is interesting what you did. Definatly nice tempo work with bringing everything together. This has a nice amount of energy through your use of dynamics, too. Probably something you worked at the most giving it a "live" sound quality. Very similiar though in style and for a remix I might suggest to add possibly something more of your own ideas in it next time, too. :-)

Outstanding remix. Lift off introduction. 5/5. 2:12 to the end my favorite.

:-)

Very beautiful and very complimentary to the original. :-)

Very nice!:-)

Laid back version for myself. Which is what I need at the moment. Some people perk up some people go to sleep. I don't know. It's the end of the day and a time change here in this land and I feel like hibernating!

Good work though!

Love the percussion and the synth horns are relaxing to me. Meloncholy is nice.

:-)

Extremely great work on this song. Very live sound. Terrific rhythmic feel. :-)

Another "Wow" from me to you! In fact in sounds like "wow"in there almost.

Not sure I like the story, but for the remix itself it's quite good. Some of the best work I've heard from you.

The end. :-]

Congratulations again Maxwell on receiving number 1 again this week. I was happy to see this here.

Great work!::-x

Nice folk style arrangement.Very lovely and the whistle sounds great. Sounds like you had a lot of fun remixing this and that's what counts.

:-)

Very good production. Interesting and unusual. I like it!:-)

Very well planned remix. Elements are special and designed well. The midsection is great and ties well with the ending. Very original and well blended remix.

:-)

Your creativity really flows! :-)

Very nice bass in the beginning and I was a little sorry to hear it end so soon though.

Wow. wake up at 2:24. That would be great for an alarm clock for me! I think I may have started with your work at 2:24 and gone from there. And you like percussion and that's great!

Nice work 2:24 to the end especially. :-)

Great work on your first remix. It looks like you are grasping some very good elements on remixing. Keep up the good work and the ending was the most interesting part for me in your remix!:-)

Awesome remix!

Hey.this really is growing on me. Lovely as is really and the beginning sounds quite right.

You have very interesting material in this remix. I'm not sure I agree with the beginning though and feel the latter portion is very more what you want to have brought forth. I think I would have chosen a little more from the later to add to the beginning. Still very awesome though and 5/5 from me to you. :-)

I just was listening to "Little Axe". It was a nice suprise to find this today.

I believe I like the mid section where you took out the percussion parts for contrast and then added them back in.

Really very interesting all the way around. :-)

I think you did a great job.

Vvery nice and imaginative.

Very much centered in the middle for panning and I might suggest alternating that somewhat if possible.

But cool piece and keep up the good work! Drumline sounds fine.

:-)

Almost Hawaiian style to me. A very beautiful remix. I love the beat and the blended mellow harmonies. I feel the moon now on the ocean horizon and the waves glistening in the light! Good work.:-)

A very creative remix. I like your composition with this the strings, the afterbeats, the bass work, and yet how you kept the vocals in front. :-)

Alot of experience shown through here but really not for me. Sorry.

I once worked for my grandmother in a little antique shop here in Iowa called "Tick Tock Antiques" so I naturally like your title here. There were some old records there but none with this title for a remix. Shucks! Oh well.

The remix is fantastic. I had to listen to it twice before I understood it. So much awesome harmony structure you have created.

Yes, pets would be fun to see on the notes section!

Cool work maestro Loveshadow. and I'm glad you finally got out of bed to ship this one off!

Susy1214 Big 5 as usual!

:-)

MixMeta4,

I really like this remix. Interesting how the styles flow together here. You did a remarkable job with this.

Very well mastered and your choice of style with this is fine tuned and carefully chosen material.

:-)

Actually, the more I listen to this the more I like it! Very intense, and edgy feel to it. :-)

Very interesting creative chord progressions and this is far from "garbage".

I like many different items in here and how different this is.

Creative and introspective remix. 5/5

:-)

Great! :-)

Cool remix! I love this song. I think you did a fine job and I love the percussion mellow feeling you have established.

:-)

Very intersting remix. Sort of a translated Western version in chord structure. Still, you have done quite an introspective work here and I find it very unusual and very tastefully complete.

You have a natural ability at this, that's for sure!:-)

Maybe pan a little more in the beginning. Very rhythmic and very fine structure you have going. Lot's of ideas for this but you started it and sort of have your own feel going.

Give it a big 5 for such creativity. Nice work! :-)

Keep up the good work. You have just begun andd there's much you have started with these elements. Don't give up because there's a whole lot more! Lots of ideas starting and for a beginer, I believe this is a fine example!:-)

This is great. Listen carefully how the harmony is emphasized here. :-) Actually it's perfect the way it is!:-]

Very nice arrangement for this in a cool happy 70's style. :-)

The harmony is interesting and dark. I think the phrasing might need to be more established. Dramatic though. :-)

Maybe the bass could be stronger though. Probably why not a HP.

Hang in there!:-]

Beautiful style and a hotpick in my book. :-)

Welcome Invisible World!

Wow. how very interesting. You have some interesting reflection going on here with you Renaissance canons. Believe me I too find harmonic foundations created throughout my remix experience depending what I have been near to in music, too.

This is very great! And I believe your finding some neat relationships here in tonality, and timbre. This is a very organized remix,(something I tend to avoid myself in remixing) and you did an outstanding job on this.

:-)

Very creative remix and I enjoy the introspective colors of harmony you chose to reflect the notes here of autumn.

Something in the vocals is a little distorted sounding to me though in the beginning.

Nonetheless this is quite remarkable introduction. And thank you for sharing. What a lovely remix to celebrate the autumn with. Almost have the same thing happening here in Iowa with much leaves ready to let go from the trees.

:-)

Sounds like someone is ready to hit the beach and hopefully the surf is up!

I think this is just fine for your second remix. Lovely background soundscape and nice rhythm section.

Makes me want to go to the beach right now! Fun.

:-]

I like everything about this and I was for some reason expecting to hear a cello solo in the middle. Tempo wise maybe you should try slowing it down a little. Your creativity is like packed in here with material and more creativity might shine threw even more at a slower tempo. An extended drum track beat would sound neat I have to admit. Still 5/5 for this as is. :-)

Guitars are really excellent, too. :-)

Sounds like quite the band set up with this. Some professional sounds coming through. Percussion is great!:-)

Very cool remix. I just realized I missed this one and now am going back to listen. Short but sweet! Catches the attention though.:-)

Very very nice intro and you have a very original sound. I like ukulele, too. A little bit much for the "EVP" here and there are moments is sounds to fuzzy, but the piano part helps break it up. You have great skills with pitch and harmony and timing sounds pretty nice.

I hope to hear more from your notes next time please. Otherwise 5 /5!:-)

Really this is just perfect the way it is. The more I listen to it the better it is. :-]

I'm sorry, I thought I already commented on this. It is absolutly eerie yet fascinating and mostly fabulous. (I wish we had spell check here)Another Colab fantastic!:-]

Perfect remix andn the tempo is great!:-]

Stunning introduction. Everything seems so perfect at this moment!:-]

This is very nice! I have been listening to Severa's Cd and her music is simply awesome. Very beautiful work.:-)

Essesq-another very creative work. Sort of a nice "dreamy" feel.

:-) Nice work with this remix!

Love it! Jazzy with precision. This would be neat with add improvisation of instrumentation for a jazz piece. :-)

Welcome here Ruari! Wonderful introduction. I will look forward to listening to this with headphones, too. Nice rhythmic feel you have created.

:-)

Sounds fine really. Great remix with GB. Congrats for your first remix here and welcome! I like 4:15 to the end the best.

:-)

Very nice remix for first here and welcome! Great use of the original files, too. :-)

A very romantic feeling, just need the Merlot! Getting close to a hot pick maybe. Great aucustic work.

Ending seemed just a little abrupt for me though.

I was just listening to this from another room. I have been a little to attached to my headphones. Sometimes, it's nice to stand back and listen. Anyways. this sounded very nice from the other room. You have great framework here,(something I lack!) Anticipating from the start to finish. :-)

Fun, imaginative, sparkly, rhythmic, electronic feel. I like it! :-)

Outstanding really! :-)

Lovely on it's own too, without vocals, I would think. Very nice either way. You're on the right track and keep up the good work. :-)

Introspective and chilled. :-]

Nice to hear some of your work here and welcome. A very nice production you have made. :-)

Very exciting remix!:-] :-x

Nice upbeat remix! :-) Nice work with the bass. Very percussive piece and sort of my ear wants to hear a break though from that for a measure or two. Maybe just for a suprise!:-)

I guess I missed this one Wildnoise, you have made a very unique remix. I enjoyed listening much to your creativity. I like especially what you included in your writing and have shared. Thanks much. :-)

I forgot to add this is a very beautiful remix as I listen again and again. Very artistic.

I like the intro! I like everything else, too. I possibly might have added a layer of bass synth pad or some sort of lower range bass texture midway through which might give even more depth. One of your best remixes though. Lovely intertwining countermelodies personalized within your own musical style. :-)

Audiotechnica, I think it's very interesting and remarkable really. Amazing what Emulator X can do. I like the piano and your "odd harpish" sound, too. I guess I like to hear variation and this is quite a variation. Quite an accomplished sound. :-)

Yes these are beautiful vocals. And I like the simple nature sound in the background you have added like cricket's chirping, the thunder.

Simple and very peaceful sounding. Very soothing for many to listen to and relax and enjoy. :-)

Very in depth.and Tethia has some good points with the deep blue sea and the beauty there. Very awesome and I too can feel the depth of sea and the brilliant fascinating underworld.

:-) :-] :-) :-] :-) Go fish! Now why was this not a HOT PICK!!!

Creative energy you have! That's great!:-)

You must have a little classical upbringing? Bach or Beethoven background? Beautiful chord progressions and some wonderful scales patterns set in. Keep up the great work!:-) Wonderful mix of past and present. :-)

Very nice. I sort of like it just like this with less vocals and your creative atmosphere more so. You have a very creative style. Thanks!:-)

Very nice laid back version and solo guitar added is great. Watch the tuning in the bass though. :-)

Pretty hot stuff Loveshadow!:-)

Beautiful music!:-)

Creative arrangement with emotion and expression. Dynamics at the closing with the decrescendo and also the ritardando worked smoothly for me.

Very fine!:-)

Seems to have passion. I like the beat and choice of tones. This tonal structure blends well. Dynamics I may have adjusted more towards soft yet more than you already did. Nice use of space. Nice transition around 3:00. Keep up the good work!:-)

Super piece and agree too that it is one of your best and reminds me for some reason of a robot. :-)

Cool and relaxed. Soft and gentle. Harmony and rhythmic texture is outstanding. :-)

This would go well with some great Merlot. Lovely introduction. Nice linear music that is very soothing. :-)

What software is this made with I was wondering? Very progressive remix with sort of an industrial or strong feel. Very interesting and the ending is very unique down to earth again. Great job! Ausgehzeichnet! :-)

Very cosmic and very interesting. Totally enjoy the beginning and the ending the most. Very creative!:-)

Sounds great, very super production and nice jazz feel here. :-)

Chilling and sort of science fiction feel. Cool!:-)

I know what you mean about the compression factor. I bet is sounds even better when not as compressed. I sure hope to see this band and many more some day. Hopefully a tour will come to this part of the world.

Your timing is great and all the parts fit nicely together. So that's a big accomplishment. I really like how you created a rhythmic feel here and that I believe is what makes this piece progress forward. I know what you are trying to do at the end (because I ended my piece close to that!)Only I may caution you when you do that to add more space before the flute solo. It gives the listener a break and then it grasps a whole new concept of a singular line of music? Just an ideas here.

Very enjoyable remix!:-)

This sounds very original and very handmade qualities here. It's very interesting and has some nice harmony, chord progressions. :-)

I wanted to add too that I really like this key.:-)

I feel like I'm should be watching a drama on the stage. Very dramatic. I feel what you are trying to portray here in a picture. And that's good. And the added rock at the end is very choice here making it more today in sound. :-)

I find it so very interesting when someone creates a remix before listening to the original. I have never tried that. Very creative style. Just a little heavey though for me with the rhythmic synth pad maybe? Otherwise very pleasant. Great introduction. :-)

Joyful remix! I like it much. Melodic and really cool countermelody. :-)

Outstanding remix! Feels really right and has a nice tight sound. Keep up the great work.:-)

Soft and charming. Dynamics are nicely balanced. Rather a smooth cosmic motion feel here that grows throughout this piece. Very tastefully designed. Layed back feel and I like how the vocal is brought to the front throughout. Excellent harmonies added. :-)

Fantastic piece this is! Moonbase Alpha and I even caught a glimpse of that full moon just the other night to make it even better when this arrived. Lovely beginning here especially. :-)

Wow. Joe, I love it! What a beautiful remix of this beautiful song. This is a wonderfully design. You have great inspiration and creativity here. It has a cosmic feel but you have added much more in atmosphere. A pleasant journey once again through space and I can almost see and feel the planets!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

A very super addition you have added and this does add much to the original. :-)

I must have listened to this and then your Static Attraction N on your website with portions together. It actually sounded very nice together I have to admit. :-] :-)

You have a super remix once again and the vocals sound great together. The lyrics added make this remix very unique. Is that Vox singing, too? It is so nice to hear such creativity here. :-) 5/5 for sure. :-)

I like your first few beats on the start. Sounded sort of familiar! I really like the beats and the bass and great dance remix. Makes me want to get up and boogie! Great piece!

:-)

Thank you all very much for your good words and inspiration.

Susy1214:-x

This has strength in sound. Great introduction totally different feel for this but I thing it's a strong sound and brings nice contrast yet works well for the vocals in a new way. :-)

A special remix that follows some nice song writing rules with, number of measures, verses, intro, bridge, more verse. But what makes it great for me is your bridge with a little key change material towards the end that achieved your music a very professional touch here. In my book this is a very professional remix and very enjoyable. Thank you for sharing! :-)

Hey congratulations for getting the first remix up on the new mix pack. Super sound. Looking forward to this remix pack, too. :-)

I sort of like this bass line. :-)

@LS thanks and I sure do enjoy visiting your music at other sites. You have a real gift for remixing. That is good advice you give too about mixing everywhere. Thanks!:-)

You're really trying to do a dance mix with this and think you might need a different software pack maybe. This is good it just needs a style change to match what you are trying to accomplish. Good work! :-)

Excellent arrangement and ideas flowing through. Keep up the great work! Sounds pretty well textured and perhaps this is why you are experiencing some technical questions for yourself. It sounds quite fine to me but I may have changed a few things dynamically at times. Often the two get confused at this point and a sound engineer might be better to advise here other than myself. Your music is very relaxing to listen to. Thank you!:-)

I meant to say "great start". I would just like to hear more added to this progressive mix. :-)

Hey all thanks for listening and the comments. Looks like I'm off to the moon and stars with zero gravity floating into a hyperdrive with a chilling relaxed sound system of all your comments and a good thoughts. Yes, music for the stars. Here we go! Please anyone else interested in this type of music go for it. It was so much fun creating it. :-)

Good start!:-)

I started to leave a comment and then was distracted. Great reggae style. I have just started experimenting with Reggae and it is not as easy as one thinks. I like your use of "skank" or off- beat chops. Oh to be in Jamaica. Keep up the good work. :-)

I like how you focused on the vocals with this cool jazz style. Great!:-)

The cymbals and drums, percussion provide clarity in this piece and does sound quite professional. Very nice!:-)

Musically, very expressive and defined artistically with style. Outstanding composition and I feel as though each section is seperate yet whole. Remarkable remix for the length. I did not get bored at all. Very super work. :-)

It's always so interesting to hear when the language in reversed. Your piece speaks from the woman's perspective of possibly all the ideas going through her head at the time. Maybe the questions and challenges she was facing. Very introspective piece. Musically, I think you put a lot of work into this and very nice and thorough composition. I think these two had a language barrier when it came to marriage though and your piece sort of reflects that in maybe a more real way than the original. :-)

LS- I think this is your best ever! If there would be competition here I think it's a definate winner. Excellent piece. I love the accents and the walking bass. :-)

Great!:-)

I'm sorry I missed this one when it was just out. I guess it's hard to listen to all of the but this here is tastefully done and I really enjoy the jazz approach. 5/5 and a wonderful piece. :-)

A very classical approach with added suprises along the way. Wonderful work of artistic talent. :-)

I visited the Grand Canyon once and this song did take me back to that place to reflect. An amazing beautiful place in nature. Thank you also for this remix and revisiting great heights and valleys with your music. I enjoyed your new chords in this remix. A very enjoyable remix and outstanding piece for your first here. :-)

Great chord progressions to travel this piece with for more understanding. Thanks for sharing this. It is quite beautiful. The best part for me is the dynamics, and accents you have chosen. It adds such depth, like the deep blue sea, where maybe this soldier had to return to eventually. 5/5:-)

A very enjoyable remix! :-)

Pretty cool! Super bass line and some neat embellishments and sounds happy, great chimes at the end. :-)

Like reading a classic mystery. Great chill feeling here. Nice piece. :-)

Great work. something a little different for a change. Very impressive!:-)

An adapted version of the orginal. Nice remix. You stayed within the boundries and did work embelishing with the bass and strings electronically. Rock bass and classic sythn. pads are a grasping combination. Almost like this is "clutching". Great feeling to portray the story. Probably he doesn't want to go out that door. :-) Sad ending your music gives in feeling, but that's ok here.

Cool piece. You did a great job here and this has a very uplifting sound. :-)

Yes, I really like this and this would sound great on Radio Remixed, too. But should be played more often. I like dance music. Maybe even those hundreds of years ago when the song first came out they may have danced too, though. I wonder. Great job!:-]

Very artistic. "Moo" at the end is cool. I like the theme you chose. :-)

I think it's great for your first remix. Drum portion seems well established. Keep at it!:-)

Very well produced. Like this much and nice pan on the vocals. :-)

Oh.how sweet. My favorite band when I was young. The only thing I might add would be some bubbles rising like in the old Ed Sullivan show's. A very enjoyable remix. Hmmm. looks almost like a bunch of bubbles with all of

Youyou's smiley faces above!.

Beautiful melodic vocal melody from SylviaO. Hot pick? I think so. :-)

Musically speaking you develope much with this remix. I congratulate you on on this remix. It has heart! :-)

This quite good for a first remix. Some interesting elements. Congratulations on your first remix here. I do like 3:39 very much, was a nice change there and sounds very brave and new material developed. :-)

A very unusual and very original remix with much personality. I like it! Keep up the great work! A refreshing sound. :-)

A very percise and well chosen composition for this remix with a comprehensive design. :-)

Thanks for your comments. I appreciate the advice greatly. Just got back from a vacation and was suprised and happy to see this on the charts. I missed remixing but got a break and took some peace and quite in the great northern parts of Minnesota. What beauty! Peace. :-)

Maybe think of this a different way. Like a bunch a people at a bar who can't keep a tune but enjoy singing? :-] It does seem fun to me and that's where I think I'm going right now@"sing-a-long" time. I really love the piano!!

This has a nice pulse to it. Very nice remix!:-)

Really shows your in depth musical knowlege here. Fun and whimsical remix. 2:15 is very interesting with the added vocal section. Might have been something to develope more of even. :-)

Sounds like an excellent film piece. Congratulations on an outstanding remix! I like 2:25 to the end especially and the sound effects. Great key changes and super fine piece. :-)

I meant "nicely added vocals" instead of "need added vocals". Or in other words great added vocals. Better go have a cup of coffee before I comment!:-]

Nice atmosphere here, a little cosmic at times, like at 1:31, very captivating. Bass line fits nicely, need added vocals. Great piece. :-)

I'm going to share alittle more about this remix. I was working on another remix of this tune but more "handmade", with more notes, rhythms, etc. It started to get rather boring, so I decided to take a break and made this one instead with GB loops and fun stuff. That's the fun of Garageband.

Do agree more about the panning elements, now that I've listened to some panning examples.

Thanks for you individual comments! :-)

Great idea. Super jazz and piano. But, does Logic let you change the melody here? I may have changed the melody around a bit more. Doghouse did that very well in his remix with the melody. I don't know if I'm explaining myself very well here, but this is very good and a very fun atmosphere. Going to go with a five for the great jazz style though. :-)

Very enjoyable remix. Far from simple though. Great work!:-)

Cute and relaxed feel here. I think I like this one the best so far of yours. Filmic? yes maybe for animation. Keep being creative though. :-)

Creative and unusual, I like the simplicity and the melodic descending flute line. :-) Very joyful sounding. :-)

Quite a nice introduction. I sort of like what you did with the vocals, too. Tasteful percussion that has sort of a "march" feel. Great upper strings and harmony.

Very rich atmosphere here and very nice work!:-)

Beautiful, quaint and very stunning harmonies. Nice accelerando. :-)

Sort of a neat idea with fusion of different musical expression and ideas. Creative. The consistent base line ties the piece together. I like the ending.:-)

I have to agree this song does have a real signature of "Multiman" musical style.

Very creative and a very enjoyable piece. :-)

Fantastic!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I like the bass line, repetitive but nice changes here and there. Like the synth line, too. Cool release at the end of the piece. :-)

This traditional remix is a beauty! The acoustic guitar sounds so choice here.

My compliments to you!:-)

Very musically creative and very interesting! :-)

Welcome, a very outstanding remix. I feel a great sense of balance after hearing this. And the strings are great sounding. One of the best here and I just love this song in the original form, too. This compliments it greatly!

From what I understand Beethoven could do just about anything when it came to composing and the gift he had was far beyond paper and pencil but what came from inside and what he shared. So in a sense I feel the answer would be yes to your question. Whether he would have chosen Pro Tools or another software that would have been interesting to find out! Great piece!

:-)

Colab,

A very soothing sound, very nice work! I like it the more I listen to it.:-)

Just a note to myself June 23, 2007 I noticed that the maturing frogs sing a minor 3rd down. On piano that's C to A. Just listening to the frog's beautiful melody on the pone now at dusk. :-) Crazy!

Can you play that sax solo at 3:28? If so, wow. be super to really neat here that. Love that sound there!:-)

Really like your bass line. :-]

Introspection here and that's good. Like to here where you've been and that's moving forward. Breaks you forward into something new. Great piece to grow on and on. Keep going forward. :-)

You need to visit with Doghouse more. You two would be wild together!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

5%=5 stars I always round up!

This is now the third or fourth time I've listen to this before commenting and it's very nice. I think it's sort of an abrasive begining though. If that's what you intended then it's great. For me I feel there's an intro. necessary. The best part is the fusion happening and I really enjoy 1:33. That's totally you! Awesome. The rest is great and the outro is fine in my book. Great work and still about a 4.5 so I'm going with a big 5% here. It really pulls together towards the end with a totally different feel from the beginning yet related.

:-)

Cheers! A wonderful remix keeping the new with the old. Very tastefully mastered both musically, with style and very much deserving as a Hot Pick. I am just a little suprised though at the ending. To me it seems a little short or maybe that it's just so good that I would like to hear more. Great work!

:-)

I think this is a dramatic remix you've put together. I like the part around 2:40 with the strings and harmony you chose. Nice dramatic edge to it.

Welcome!

I feel this is a great step forward for this being your first remix. I like the laid back feel and the very emotional solo guitar line to compliment the style. You stayed within the style of the piece to compliment the song and that has deep respect. Nice work and congratulations on your first remix! :-)

Sax solo sounds super nice. Blends well and great remix. :-)

Really nice. The introduction and the ending are very imaginative and creative.

This is nice. I may have just added a little bit more of an introduction before the main part of your remix. Many neat ideas together. Nice beats and now this song has a new modern feel for today. :-)

Like a finely woven fabric. Interwoven harmony and rhythms that are woven into the main melodies. Creative and well chosen combinations. :-)

Not so sad really. just a minor key. Very nice and the piano blends well The "up beat" rhythm is nice framework for the whole structure of your remix. :-)

Well. TheJoe has some comments I agree with in timing and editing.

You are very creative and your music is interesting with this remix pack. There are some very interesting ideas that come forth. I like the overall tonal range in c minor and that's what keeps it together.

And most of all welcome here and it's a great music community here!

:-)

Beautiful remix and I like the percussion choices for this piece that compliments the vocals and brings clarity. :-)

Fun harmony, very light and very joyful remix. Nice and refreshing to hear something so well produced. Bass phrase is awesome. I do not understand why this is rated so low but I feel it's well worth 5 of 5. Great job! :-)

Top notch and with style. :-)

I know this will not be for everyone this song and with that I thank you for listening those of you who do not like it, too. It is okay if do not like it by the way. We do not all have to like the same type of music all of the time.

Thank you for your comments and for taking the time to listen. It was piece that I wrote at the moment went back to it several times to try to develope it further but found it difficult then to change to create into something else. And I even started to like the melody for some odd reason so then I decided just to keep it as is.

Believe me I listened to this many times and went through all the feelings such as :O= :-( X-{ :-] :-) :-x but after a while that I decided to submit it just as is.

And found the bit rate at 65 did work even so that was a learning experience in itself. I might eventually work more on this or just leave it as is and let it rest!:-]

It's great. Would also sound great with some loud electric guitar lead solos. :-)

This is very good and intersting theme. Great work all the way around.

:-)

Very pleasant remix to listen to. Very well balanced dynamically, rhythmically and structured well. Works great!:-)

4 or 5 "beeps"and the bass is rather nice. :-]

Very great remix. Enjoyed the key change a 1:10. Maybe the best part to me. makes the next key change interesting too. Some nice harmony work too. :-)

Really like your awesome feel here with the blues. Seems to fit this rainy day here. Like your great solo added, too. Great feel with your music. Solo vocal and solo guitar compliment one another nicely. :-) Rhythm section blends well.

Interesting introspective timbre and tone at the start. I like the sort of "tin" sounding timbre you chose in the start. Not sure if I like the contrasting mellow sound with it added later. I think I would have chosen what you started with and not used the music box mellow timbre or maybe would have given a different edge to it to blend with the start. But that's just my opinion. You are very talented and your pieces are always great to hear and I keep up the good work!

:-)

You are great at creating themes musically speaking and there's a lot of material here that could be extended into either more than one piece or dramatically spread out into a longer more developed piece.

Still very creative and not everyone has that gift.

I think this is great but could have been even more developed and "chilled" out a little bit more.

:-)

Nice remix emphasis starting to happen in grouping measures of two. together. Grouping bass in two measures is interesting I think, I like that.

Yes do more. This is very good. :-)

Maybe a hula hoop would work better! Great music, fun and upbeat.

Really rocks!:-)

Very beautifully created with peaceful timbre. Has a "down to earth" feel. Lovely harmonies. Very creative remix. :-)

I actually may have been able to hear a reprise with more of your great percussion yet at the end and perhaps add more improvisation to show off your natural drum skills? Just an idea. :-) :-]

Great percussion composition. :-)

How in the world did you think of that? Remarkable and fun!:-)

Very original. Very nice. Enjoy your sound! Interesting combination with the hymn like theme and the original song. Super work!

Very interesting and chill like remix feel. Like the underlying beat and texture. Awesome remix. :-)

Good drive and pulse. Very well produced. Great ears!:-)

Dramatic, and chilling, mysterious sounding. Very original remix. :-)

Classy piece!:-)

Congratulations on your first remix! Some very interesting musical concepts you have chosen in this piece. :-)

Powerful remix. Driven bass really wakes me up here. Great job!:-)

Great percussion!:-)

Beautiful piece with lots of TLC included. Very nice an peaceful. :-)

:-] Gee Thanks!!!!:-x

Very enjoyable and innovative remix of the two songs remixed together into one. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Disco days! :-) Fun remix with affection.

Perfect new music for a merry-go-round! Fun and joyful. :-)

Super piece with using the orginial sample pack selections. Sweet work! :-)

Great work. I would like to hear just a little less volumn in the percussion at times because underneath there's alot of neat chords and interwoven music style that I feel needs to be brought out more. Great ideas!:-)

Smoking Pony, welcome here -). Great piece, I enjoyed the piano at the end and was hoping I would here that trumpet. Keep up the good work!

:-)

Wonderful remix with many interwoven transitions. Very nice. :-)

Creative driving piece. Just came back from a days drive. Yes, this would have been nice to hear along the way. Where's the radio station? :-)

Great remix! Interesting from start to finish. I guess I think you did a great job with this. I like it the way it is. :-)

Totally great song. Way to go Mr. Doghouse Riley! Already had to listen to this three times right away. Like the chords, harmony and upbeat sound!!!

:-) :-) :-) :-x :-x

Very tastefully mastered with a very amazing style unique and interesting. 2:30 is my favorite. Great!:-) :-) :-) :-x :-x

Nice original drum work. 2:45 is nice sounding, too. Funky and well done. :-)

I might call this experimental music category which I like to delve into myself. For not liking the original song you really came up with something very new and different. I enjoyed the journey through your musical soundscape. :-] Great work!

I need to make a correction to the note here in that there is no a cappella part in this remix. It comes close but there is actually music insturmentation mixed in with the vocals. Sorry if that was confusing. I still really do like a capella music though. :-]

Herine, That's quite beautiful music. I could not agree with you more about the generosity of this site and being on the cutting edge with remixing music, sharing new ideas in technology, and listening to so many new concepts in music with other remixers around the world. That has been a bonus in my music world.

I like your introduction, such a neat blend. One of the most upbeat remixes that I have heard yet and a great beat to deliver it with.

I hope you might be back again and it has been a great joy to hear your music. Susy1214

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Has a your own style, Radiotimes. A little bit of a "Charlie Brown" music feeling. Could just picture Schroeder playing along here. Great work. I always look forward to hearing your creations. :-)

Very interesting notes about your remix which is made with finesse and in good taste with respect to others and the earth. Very enjoyable remix.:-)

Interesting remix. Glad I heard this! :-) Keep up the good work!

Yes, Very nice. Very good remix. :-)

Not sure exactly why this is here as #1 or whether it has to do with the voting system. But congratulations to you. Your work seems to be in a beginning stage but an advanced beginning stage. I see you are new. I would suggest maybe listening to more on this site and part of what we remixers do is share both listening and advice to others. Keep up the good work. I know you are excited about having your friends listen to your music. I think Real World needs to make some adjustments along the way for this type of situation in allowing friends to both listen and vote. Don't be discouraged but if you really enjoy music it will find it's way. One way or the other to the both yourself and others. :-)

I read your remixer name of "Blackforest" and immediatly think about that Blackforest cake I had in the Blackforest area once. Yum!

Anyway. get that out my mind now and concentrate on this great music your writing here. :-) Nice to here in your notes about the inspiration. I feel the connection of musical ideas. Great work!:-)

Very nice remix. You are fortunate to be able to carry such emotion in your music. Not everyone succeeds in that department. My heartfelt encouragement here to you. :-)

Really does not sound like you have a cold. Glad you got your song posted. Enjoyed your remix much and interesting work with piano and vocals. Actually the song chorus vocals sound a little cold like, too. Anyway. hopefully you are feeling better today. Way to stick with it and make it work. :-)

Super remix. Great beat. Neat section at 1:40. Great work. :-)

Awesome, creative and fantastic. :-)

Interesting fusion happening here. Spectrums go into something totally new. Like this much. Congratulations!:-)

Sounds like your doing something very super with what equipment you have. Keep up the great work! Great harmony, rhythm and style of your own. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Thank you for your comments.:-x

OXXO I ended up with a set of Bose. I like them much!

Yes, Happy Mixing to you to and everyone here!:-x :-x

Intense music writing composition here with complexity, intrigue and much character. Music that is being described by sound for embellishment to the story. Fine example.

:-)

I think it's 6/8 isn't it? Pleasant feel, very professional sound and guitar extra is a real treat. Percussion extra nice sound, too.:-)

Ah. very much what I like, too. Yes, very nice. 2:41 fun change. Great!:-)

A breathtaking experience, very beautifully centered within the wide timbre of sound.

A stillness and anticipating moment waiting for the returning surf to come in from the ocean.

:-)

Very remarkable remix, touches a warm spot in my heart. Reflective, sensitive and very sad but true. :-)

Awesome remix. :-)

My instrument is trumpet, too. Great work on the trumpet jazz line. Only suggestions is bring it out more. It's sort of covered up. Nice work here. :-)

I am outside today washing windows of all things. But here in Iowa it's a big treat after such a long winter. I'm listening to the Redwinged Blackbird and I noticed some of my begining melody theme is quite similiar. Interesting.

@Joe, thank you for your comment. :-]

I'm beginning to think now that I am a 2:00-2:30 fan too here. Ha ha!

But, something happened prior to that made me think of the rest so I guess you just have to put up with the previous, too.

@ Tethia yes I did experience some of the same mental creativity process in composing as I experienced with Frankmixtein. The creative portion of the brain is so much higher to work with than the sound engineering portion at least for myself.

This is maybe a little analytical here but I also was around a lot of live performance that week and I believe that may have had an impact for the creative process of composing. I had the opportunity to work with some orchestra students and then started hearing some beautiful string lines, harmonies and melodies starting to develope in my thoughts.

You need a movie director to have this childhood memory brought back to life for us to see!! Wouldn't that be neat. :-]

Great remix.:-)

I like the contrast between the heavy percussion and the light melodic line makes this very vibrant. I like your remix.

:-)

Dear Professor Spinmeister,

This is your best work ever. Excellent song. Such super sound and arrangment of parts is outstanding.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THIS IS NOT A HOT PICK????

Love the build up to the change of harmony around 2:00. Your music brings out passion. Nice work.

wow.sounds like a movie production. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Interesting themes with one underlying element that keeps it tied together, you!! Nice work!:-]

Sweet dance remix!:-]

:-) :-] :-x :-x :-x

So great to have your comments here!!

:-x

I like the vocoder on the tablas. Creativity flows throughout the piece and masterful production. Low bass is great sounding. :-)

Vvery interesting. Cool intro. Great for the dance floor. Like the use of a wide range of octave leaps in there. Very modern up to date feel. :-)

It's great! Reminds me a little of the rough sea edge with some "choppy" waves and probably great for surfing though. Just makes a person want to go there by the sea!

Anyway. your music brings life and this is a great composition remix that is very enjoyable, bright and vibrant in feeling.

:-)

Now that's beautiful!:-)

I was hoping someone would do this remix with a bagpipe and this is very rich with the melodic harmony, :-)

Great piece. Some really neat things happening in here. Definately 2:40 is pretty awesome. I just got started working on another remix of this here this evening so it's nice to listen to something different for a while. I really like the ascending chord progression and the staccato harmony near the end. :-)

This is really excellent work. I just feel like there are some parts missing though. Has a real movie production quality. Bring the listener some place maybe in Africa. Maybe some more instruments or even upper range vocals. Something in the treble range perhaps.

Still feel this is 5/5!! Great work.

You are very talented and really like the sound, harmony and style. Great work!:-)

Best song, I believe. You took a big step here. :-)

Wow.how did you ever think of that? Awesome sound together. I'm going to sit down and try to play along with too since that's one I know also. 5/5 for creativity here. :-)

Sorry, I think I started that about who's who. Sounded a little like you Loveshadow at first. Maybe I listened to it too fast but I realized later that it was Peter then. Whoops! Still nice though LS and very great work!:-] Glad you came up with this one. :-]

Oh. can't I have one more moondance with you? Moondance, Van Morrison. A favorite of mine. Great work to you Bow Wow and friends!! Keep up the super super piece! Like the jazz as is!:-) Cool ending, too.

Your notes express a wonderful tone for the music you composed. Nice work. :-)

Super remix! Great to hear something done so artistically and creatively. You went to great effort here. :-)

Like your countermelody and harmony, delayed effect is interesting but drags a little. Trombone is funky and fun. Lots of detail. Jazz could be brought out alittle more even. Keep wanting to hear more trombone in this. But all around great idea. :-) Super job for your first remix!!!!

Nice remix. Moving bass part is great. :-)

Some funky jazz piano and progressive bass line. Great!:-)

Clarify my comment that you make top five very difficult to choose from with all your other remixes being so good! Anyway. I'm putting this at #1 on my chart. Really like the boss bass! Need to hear this one driving down the road. :-]

Thank you. I appreciate your comments and expressing the truth.:-]

Congratulations on your new baby! Peaceful remix. I especially like the intro with the chords and interesting melody.

:-)

Has a disco beat, "on the beat" feel. I wonder what it would sound like with a little bit of variation with the beat, such as a little ahead of the beat and a little behind the beat. Not that I don't like the disco feel but, it's still great. Good job! You make choosing top Five's very difficult!:-) Like the canned vocal part. 5/5 Keep up the good work!:-)

A romantic remix. Chords, harmony blend well with the vocals. Guitar sounds very well with the rest. And your vocal part is wonderful. That is you isn't it in the background? Pleasant, light and a delightful remix. Sounds like something you would here at a wedding perhaps. Be a beautiful wedding song. Peaceful and very nice. :-) 5/5

Beautiful design even if some came up unexpectedly. Makes a nice suprise then. Really like the tempo slower here and the ending is just perfect. 5/5:-)

This piece really breaths. I can almost hear a heatbeat. Great work.:-)

Cool reggae remix and trumpet solo is great. Maybe in addition steel drums would have been interesting, too. However very great remix as is. :-) Great work!!:-)

Very relaxed feeling you bring out. You have emotion in your music that's for sure. Great piano. Nice dynamics. For the first remix very good.

Simply beautiful and the vocals all blend so well together. Great production. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Very original. Great work.:-)

This has a great groove feel and ready for the dance floor. Wonderful remix.:-)

Nice remix! :-) Tuning is different, but maybe you wanted it this way. Anyways, I like your ideas.

Interesting elements and overtones. Great for the dancefloor, too. :-)

Delightful new sound with the extended upper range arpeggios to smile with. :-]

This is a song that unless you understand music you will not grasp the complexity of this brilliant music composition. Travel through chord progresssions with tasteful melodic chains of tonal clarity. Almost like climbing stairs one chord to the next. This song take you to the top and lets you look down afterwards to find that vocal central aspiring center of the original song. Masterful, intense and powerful piece. :-)

Great piano introduction. Choice rhythmic structure compliments the song well. Very nice. Like how you blended in more parts. Nice contrast at 2:00. Again, super contrast at 3:00 to the end. Heartfelt remix. Congratulations!:-)

Love your introduction melodically speaking it's very bright sounding. Nice notes, too. I have to agree with you in describing Angeliques's voice and that is true about both the powerful drive and the soft qualities. Your music remix is great!!:-)

Very touching Loveshadow, you have alot of heart coming through here. Very tastefully done. Blending parts that really compliment one another. :-)

Outstanding work with your oboe playing with this remix. Very creative remix! It's very good.:-)

Interesting ideas and I like what's happening. Very tastefully done. Nice ending. Nice tonal range your working with to accompany the vocals which I take it are reversed? Great sound. :-)

Nice balance and some nice arranging with this. Like what you did. Something refreshing and restful. :-) I could listen to this music. Good job!

Nice ideas, like the bass especially. :-)

I am glad you posted this because you did outstanding work in this remix. :-)

Very well produced. Nice musically too. Flows well from one theme to the next. :-) Like the solo guitar line. Nice ending. :-)

Creative.and fun piece with some very interesting items and a good beat. Liked the intro and was a little suprised at the key change at the onset of the vocals but very interesting, too. :-)

I really like the percussion. Nice remix! :-)

Awesome piece. :-)

Has sort of a reggae feel. Very creative and cute. :-)

I feel that the volume levels need adjustment. Interesting repetitive concept that has merit and that I like. Plus neat introspective melodic features.

:-)

This is really awesome for your first remix. I'm sorry I missed this when it came in.

You are very talented and I love your choices. You have a real spectrum and your soundscape is beautiful in stereo.

5 stars here and keep up the great work! I look forward to hearing more from you in the future!:-)

As I listen to this now on headphones I will note that the vocals are too loud.

You stepped out of your box on this one. One of your most powerful steps taken and I think one of the best remixes you have ever made. Totally new direction with different style that I like much. Cool ending. (Hot pick in my book, too). :-) This definatly is you. Acorns all over here where I live. White Oaks. Squirrels take care of them which is nice. :-)

It's relaxing and spa sounding. The end is a little clipped but maybe you wanted it that way. I would have liked a fade out to bring me back out of the experience of your music and into the silent space.

In general, great work! You have accomplished much and the new hardware, software and Professor Spinmeister have really given you ways to elaborate more on your creative style and that is what I hear coming forth with your efforts. :-)

What a delightful surprise. It's almost like opening presents.

Congratulations to all and the celebration drinks sound great. The music parts are spectacular and I'm still in awe. My compliments to all the remixers on their parts. Thank you to Little Axe and to RealWorld. Cheers to everyone and of course to that good ol' "real love". :-x :-x :-x :-x :-x

Very interesting. Has sort of an eastern feeling in harmony. Nice climax towards the end built with new piano theme. Very good piece. Together you built it fine. :-)

Brilliant! The rhythmic beat contrasting the long flowing phrases is very appropriate and compliments the vocals. :-)

Thanks Steff, Joe and Thukol, I liked that intro part too. Reminds me of harps and guitars for some reason. I think this piece would sound neat with total harp and guitar if I had an orchestration I would try that.

Actually, the tapping sound came up sort of by accident and I sort of liked it and was suprised about it and used it.

BackStage,Vox,Ritzkey,Pegasus,HysteriKen,Mangel,Synthetic1, I appreciate you kind words and advice. Thank you!

:-x

Addition of an irregular rhythm in here around :40 is interesting yet somewhat lengthy for the entire piece. Just my opinion. A little electronic gamelike sounding.

Beautiful piece, very nice. You are very creative. :-)

It's a nice remix and just keep at it, both remixing and comments are much needed from everyone in order for everyone to improve.

Nice that you try to keep it in the more traditional mode, too. That has respect.

Some very interesting elements that are happening here with your remix. Keep up the good work.!:-)

Not going to bury this yet, Hernine because I'm going to give it a 5/5 too!

Congratulations!:-] It's super!

Nice drama with the heavy beat. Very intense feeling. A little bit "fuzzy" sounding to me. Clear would be better. Did you have to compress this? Sometimes that may affect the sound quality and I understand that. :-)

Okay. Now what? Probably needs artwork to compliment this style indeed. Art and music therapy. Cool!:-]

Embracing music.:-)

I like how you move with the bass with the rest of the piece. You are have a very good musical sense and have done well with the chord progressions. Interesting when you put in the drum solo, too. Maybe I would have put that in the middle, but it is still at the end, too. Very nice for your first remix. :-)

Great piece with working with the orginal parts. Nice balance between dynamics and well chosen segments that work well together. Great job!:-)

Nice amount of energy and emotion. Very positive feeling here. Good work!:-)

Very meloncholy and yet respectful. Musically this portrays all your ideas quite well. Visually it may be nice to have an art -installation, yet I feel you have grasped what you want to present to the listener already through your music. Thank you for sharing this!:-)

Sa la la So very nice remix! Great tempo. Interesting section @2:00. Creative:-)

A little heavy at times in the lower tones, sort of drags at times with tempo. Many ideas happening here and focus needs to be somewhere not everywhere. Criticial here maybe too much. Keep up the good work. Ending feels better and like that best of all of your piece. Really feel like you became more focused the last 2 minutes of this piece. :-)

Wow! Outstanding work and love the trombone solo. Angelique's vocal is especially complimentary to all the instrumentation. Dynamically super. Very well produced. Wish I could give this something more than just 5!:-]

Tasteful remix! Very colorful and vibrant. :-x

Like this a lot. Would like to hear more :08-:24 throughout this piece. Just my favorite part. Cool upbeat sound!:-)

Awesome remix. Really like the upper interchanging countermelody. :-)

I like it most from 2:00 on with the percussion parts added. Flute solo is interesting too. Write in your notes more next time. Nice work but I just think most of your piece begins around 2:00 or so.

Interesting harmony and effects. A little too much at times. :-)

Quite awesome. Nice idea here rather huge spectrum of music introduced. Hot Pick? 5 for 5 with a very high five!:-)

Vox, nice mellow remix that makes me want to just sit around a warm fire and roast marshmellows to. Must be the great acoustic sound. You should be very proud of this indeed, it is great. And congratulations on the Hot Pick!

Great remix Radiotime's and super Hot Pick result! One of your best yet.::-x

I like the high overtones. :-)

I think the chop you liked very much and maybe if your intend to use a chop use more. I liked the silence because it did break away from your previous part.

I think you did great for your first remix. Hard to believe really that this is your first remix. Some very intersting ideas in here. :-)

Good musical expression. You have a nice style that is very sincere to your words. :-)

I am glad you did this with a link to the natural roots and with the knowledge of the musical scale for this style of music. Thanks:-)

Pleasant sound.-)

Expressive. Sounds handmade which is a change to listen to. :-)

Good comments. Not suprised really. Many of you are right about the rhythm that's too busy at times.

:-) :-)

"Toil" - as as in work extremely hard, which to me feels close to Fielding's term of tension. That's what I feel when I listen to this and I think Fielding's music brings forth that feeling of tension or toil.

To me I hear "toil". Your ending seemed fast on this piece. Maybe a little longer or drawn out more. But, musically very inspiring. :-)

I guess I was waiting for something else to happen after midway through and that it's just needs something else. Might just not be my type of music.

Very rhythmic and repetitive. Change around 4:00 felt nice but it's a long way into the song.

Great jazz composition!!!:-)

It's nice. Rhythym is accurate. Nice choices.

Maybe include a countermelody to help remember the piece with. Seems a little vague to me. 4/5. Glad to have you here and remixing. Keep up the good work. :-)

Very nice underlying pads. Nice rhythm and vocals. Percussion could be a little more in places for lower drums. Not sure exactly how to word that. This is very very very nice. I hope you will be back soon to write more because this is very good. Good luck with your cello playing though. I like the key change and drama added at the end. :-)

Your notes are funny. But it is true how something starts out as something and then ends up being something else. This probably was a nice suprise for you. Different, unusual and very refreshing from the usual. I like it much!

Listen to your heart.that's cool. Five stars here for creativity. Sounds like a totally new piece. Somewhere between Hawaii and Mars!!!:-)

I like the hand clasp too, and used this in my remix. Sounds great in stereo. Funky guitar! Still like you chord progression you added. Nice piece. :-)

I meant polyphonic texture (typing too fast!)

Is this a little of My Secret Bliss vs Shock the Monkey by Strams? It's way cool and I like it much. Great sync with too totally different melodies and very intersting pholyphonic texture at times. :-)

Nice job on this traditional style remix. Great solo part you have added to this. I like what did much and cool chords introduced. Keep up the great work! 5/5 here. :-)

Nice balance. Like you say not too toughand not to light. Rather enlightening though. Nice qualities and kept me interested the whole way through.:-)

You write the best countermelodies! This is the type of song you want to hear somewhere where a lot of people meet. Keep up the good work! It's the song you here where you meet for drink at bar or restuarant and then need to get up a dance with that special someone with. "Dance With The Stars" maybe!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I have to agree with Thukol for the most part especially about the voice in sort of a sitar way transformation. Very unique. Repetitive dance music= more dance time.

Percussion is a little loud. But I do like it!

:-)

I ike the varied rhythms. I like the silence you added and interesting combinations used in this piece. Nice!:-)

This is sooooooooooooooooo cool! Right up my alley. Light, pleasant love the harmony you based this with.

I'm glad the meeting was a success with your sythesizers and that it worked out so well. I'm going to have a meeting with my PC now too! 5/5

:-]

This is quite a suprise this week seeing this here with so many other better remixes.

Nonetheless. Thank you much for your comments and suggestions.

Back to more remixing!

ps. CoffeeAchiever thanks, this was made with a Hawaiian Coffee and some good ol' Starbucks coffee. Not too much though or I would be up all night.

:-] :-) :-)

Very rhythmic remix with much texture. :-)

Awesome remix!:-)

I would have brought out the upper harmony in the intro more, it's quite nice. Maybe move the around sound more and bring out what you are adding which is so unique sounding.

This is very good and something that has great possibilities. Like the harmonies at 3:30 because they stand out more. :-)

To me it sounds a little bit like a continuous reprise. Very film music sounding to me. Like credits for the end of a movie? Imaginative though and I might be able to see this better with a short film about the story. 4/5:-)

I love this piece. Brings me to the mountains of Switerzerland again. Nice key change!!!And more key changes!!!!

You are very talented!!

5/5 and going put this on my list.

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Very nice Tethia, nice layed back feel. Brings me to the beach, no worries, no problems. Check with the volumn on all parts and bring out what you want to listen to for each portion would be my best recommendation. I like the slower tempo. You've attempted a great deal here and are on the right path. :-)

Seriously, though in regards to your remix, Mr. Radiotimes, this is very good. I like this because you did some longer phrases 5/5 here and keep up the good work! :-)

Have you ever heard Paul Winter's music from Common Ground, "Oceano Dream"? These piece also uses the whale's song in it.

This is very nice. Great work. :-)

Classy remix. I feel like you put in your best into this. Really polished this one nice. High 5 here. :-)

Nice remix and I like your rhythmic structure and lower bass. Good form and positive mood here. :-)

Very nice. It is very interesting and I did enjoy this much. Thank you.

Now that's 110 percent! Great remix!!:-)

That's last question is quite true. This is almost a new song. But, it is one of the best. My compliments to you for creating this. It definatly is a favorite for myself. This key is very interesting for the vocals and works very nicely together. :-)

Skillful soundscape, positive and vibrant. One of your best yet!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

"Ouds" of sound for all of us to relax and listen to or just to kick our feet up and dance, dance, dance!!!

Great work constructed with the original sample pack. I always like that because I think it give much more credit to the original. Quite nice, great sound! My compliments to you for such outstanding work!:-)

Seriously? It's very nice. I like it. Great work. :-)

Nice composition of textures and musical ideas. :-)

Played from the heart, inspirational, creative to the core. Five stars.

I really like what you did on this remix.

What a great, complete remix. I like how you continue with a certain theme the whole way through. Works well, nice ending, too. Great job!:-)

Great remix! Nice rhythmic structure.

:-)

It's nice. Has a nice "sparkly" feel to it! Glitzy, shimmery feel. Very happy sounding. :-)

Tastefully done with a very professional quality. :-) Outstanding remix!:-)

I had to come back and listen to this again. Must be a really good song when a listener has to come back and listen again!

This may very well fit with the "Pop" category. Probably this would also fit in with the "Electronic/ Dance" category, too or others. I think it's great! Congratulations!

:-)

I'm chuckling away at :50.humor and music.tribute to music ancestors of Western music. Very brilliant remix. I can just imagine pounding this lovely piano synthesizer part away on the piano keyboard and not through the "musical typing" mode which is such an odd translation in itself.

Great work!:-)

Cool. I am a big fan of "chilling out" remixes. So, peaceful and relaxing. Like the upper register "pads". Tonal range works well with this song. "Glistening" like the snow caught by the light. Neat fade out. :-)

Interesting, A thousand years from now maybe this will be a new language? I'm glad we know it's reversed in your notes.

I unfortunately, I do not understand this language to begin with so that is unfortunate for me. If it were to be in English and reversed I wonder what it would sound like.

Either way it's very intersting and musically you are quite talented with all the enormous amount of musical soundscape used within thie piece and the ability to reverse sounds and rearrange them into something new again.

A little bit "fuzzy" sounding to me though in places but lately that technology is being used so often in today's most recent electronic music that I sometimes am confused as to whether the intention is to make it sound this way or not. Very creative musically speaking and the introduction is very unique.

:-)

This is quite cute! :-)

Perhaps some lyrics added would have been ok, too. Just thinking about the original more. Very good as is with what your have going on. :-)

Awesome remix. :-)

Very polished remix with an achievement of muscianship that is an embellishment of the orginal. Very nice work!:-)

I just feel like this piece really begins at 2:00. Have you thought about that? Great work though. :-)

Very original. Fantastic percusionnist and the music is built around this nicely.

Great! :-)

Cool and flowing. Nice work! Do I hear a track from "Shock The Monkey"? Just curious. Maybe it just sounds similiar to me. :-)

Interesting concept beginning with a new key. Contrasting to the orginal key of course. I think it gives it a fun twist though. The "Yeah" at the end is a sort of fun and sexy ending. Great! :-)

Hit a little soft spot here with my heritage background, talking way back when of course. I do not believe any of my ancestors brough back any of those horns. Probably much too large. Occassionaly, on Oktoberfest we do see some of those remarkable horns.

They are remarkable. And you have had much happen in the creative process by adding this instrument in. So that is very creative on your part.

I was in Appenzell and what a quaint village that is. Keep up the good work! You are very talented.

I would recommend listening to the mix of Joi's some time. It's quite remarkable.

:-)

This is cute and entertaining and very well done muscially. Something in a similiar style would be fun in music education for learning various instruments and rhythms. :-)

Interesting comments coming from you that are very truthful. However, you do have great remixing capabilites. Do not sell yourself short. In fact, it's very obvious that you are good at this and what you have created with this remix is very outstanding. I like what you did around 2:30 lightening it up a bit and around 2:50 and to the end is great! I like this tonal range better, too. :-)

Nice work and seems well balanced in composition. :-)

I think this is one of your best works ever. It's definatly you! Congratulations!:-)

Sounds like you're very naturally musically talented and that is something not everyone is gifted with. The rest will only get better and improve over time.

Good job and I hope your uploading goes better for you next time. :-)

Very good job!

I like your descending countermelody line. Maybe a little loud in places in the vocals. Otherwise quite nice. :-)

Cool remix, very well planned and grooves well. :-)

I don't why but this reminds me of an old chevy that I once drove that sometimes wouldn't start. Had me reliving those memories of "pumping" the gas pedal over and over again. Oh well. at least I can laugh it off now.

Thanks for the humor! Your pieces take the listener to different places and if it's funny the better.

Very creative work!:-)

You have nice instrumentation. I was almost wanting to hear just instrumentation which means you are very good with this. Keeps the listener wanting to hear for more of your creative musical ideas. Great job. :-)

This is a nice key to work with. Good work. :-)

Looks like it's a small world after all. Makes me want to jump in and get my "ethnic" band members together for some notes to follow this lead. It's fun! Keep up the good work! 5/5 for this market approach and believable musical process, conceptulization and simply fabulous music offered for the listener. :-)

Another interesting remix. I hear two different styles. Each could go individually on their own but you chose to combine them together which works well in contrasting each portion, too. Seems just a little bit under complete though to me and I am not sure exactly why. Maybe a texture could be added to intertwine the two styles together. But not sure exactly what, whether it be an underlying rhythmic structure or intertwining harmonic structure. But very nice. :-)

Quite interesting and very punctual in rhythm. Makes it work out okay. You're very talented. Maybe I could hear a reprise at the end and repeat some of the musical ideas you created to round this out. Good work.

Nice work!:-)

Robeaux, I think really the string samples are great as is. :-)

I think your bass line could be more dynamic. It's a little soft. Like your concepts going with this for the most part. :-)

I like this much. Especially sitting here in a winter white landscape of snow. Very fitting. You have several very outstanding themes happening. What I would like hear is more combined together and longer phrases. What is grasped is rather short for the listener. What may sound really interesting though is combining portions or phrases into a woven texture. Great work and I look forward to hearing more from you. :-)

Absolute original creativity and outstanding musical talent comes across in this remix. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Very nice musical structure and I like the balance for this piece. :-)

Very heavy in the bass. Around 3:20 you added an interesting strings. I would grab that and put it in a little earlier, too towards the beginning of the piece.

:-)

Beautiful voice. Great work.:-)

Fun! Reminds me of my father's scat singing which he sometimes did to be funny. He was quite a musical person and this always amazed me when he started singing like that.

:-]

Great combination of remixes. :-) Clever.

Interesting harmony added. I would like to hear less percussion at times. I would blend it more and key in to your new sections more by adding more measures before and after changing the dyamic levels make a big difference, too. Very, very nice though. Could be a bit longer, too. Keep up the good work!:-)

Thanks everyone! Some things just happen naturally for me and I wish I could answer some of the more technical questions, but I am still learning. One thing I know is it takes a lot of ear, a little patience and then sometimes things just happen to fall into place. That's when it's a nice suprise. :-]

I wrote "heart" instead of "hear". Writing to fast. Sorry. :-]

I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into this. Composition with the saxaphone parts is great. The chinese-made concert flute sounds great, too.

It's almost getting into a jazz band arrangement and then I would like to heart trumpets, too. Nice work. :-)

Synthesized flute sounds cool. :-)

Refreshing feeling with this remix. :-)

I would have liked to have listened to this about one minute longer, but still amazingly good just the way it is. :-)

Finally, you are back Loveshadow with some new music! Five stars here. It's great. Peace.:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Like the introduction. The piano is nice, too. I think your song is well developed in your own creation here. Keep up the good work. Nice arrangement. :-)

Very interesting remix with the new slow down version. Sounds like you went to a lot of detail here. A lot of things I have been wanting to try out myself. Great job. :-)

Thank you all for your comments. :-]

Very interesting remix with a very creative style and fusion. Highly energetic, with a darker tonal contrast from the original song.

Uplifting remix.gets me up on feet to dance! Fun!:-)

Sweet remix!:-)

Very nice remix. :-)

Quality remix with sound engineering that is exceptionally good. I enjoy this piece for the original music style. I have no problem with the bass here. Your style is very punctual to me. Fine work. :-)

Tasteful, simplistic and toneful remix. I like this much.:-)

Very delicate melodic line. Contrasting remix. Unusual yet sort of sweet. :-)

Cool. Maybe add an introduction is what I would do. And maybe a little less cymbal. :-)

What do you want the listener to remember? That is a question I ask myself. Too many themes, perhaps. Good things are happening here. Keep up the good work. :-)

Very flowing and sounds like an actual song. Blends well. Well done!:-)

I forgot to mention the piano composition is fantastic in this piece. :-)

Interesting that you did the remix before you listened to the original. I think you did a great job with what you have and you have a good natural sense working with music. Keep up the good work!:-)

Way to go for another week at number one for top twenty!:-x

Thanks, Nikon, I Just used a couple of the synth pads with my software.

You have a very original style. I really like the piano, counterpoint string lines are super. I would maybe bring the oboe, or soprano sax within the higher range for the most part. Lower range sounds to low. Skip came in rather loud, I would bring it down a bit. Still for your orginal style and composition efforts I am going to give this a five. Piano is super! Great work!:-)

Interesting. It sounds like a mother's voice in the background pleading for this war to end now. And for everyone to go onward, rebuild and to live in peace.

Very nice. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

This has a cool, jazzy rock feel. I like it very much. Percussion is great. :-)

You have interesting ideas happening here. Nice work. :-)

Great electronic dance remix. :-)

Nice, easy going remix. Just heard it on Radio Real World for the first time. Five stars here. :-)

Nice feel. :-)

It almost sounds like a symphony work with a string section. Really goes nice with my background picture of the ocean on my screen saver. I would say to continue with these mini selections. So interesting and tranquil. I would look forward to hearing more. Interesting that it is in D minor. :-)

Sigh.it's simply beautiful!:-)

Fantastic. :-)

And that is a beautiful poem, Oskar. Just love this song! Great syncopation.:-]

Simply pleasant! :-)

Congratulations Harlow!:-)

Really nice work. New and refreshing remix. Enjoy your remix much!:-)

Also, I am reminded of the sound of an ocean tide. Your music is tranquil. Nice work. :-)

This sounds like something to used for an awards presentation or movie production. I don't know how you did. You are very talented. :-)

Cool and a very nice mix. Mellow feel to it. :-)

As I listened to this more, I really like the sublte use of the strings, too. :-)

Congratulations Backstage Superstarz!!!!:-)

Very unique. I may have added an intro similiar to the ending this work to introduce your interesting ideas. :-)

Nice work! :-)

Thank you for these encouraging comments.:-x

Dreamy, peaceful feel, maybe a little angelic even with the harp sound. Maybe just bit little less dynamic volume in the percussion in places. Otherwise very wonderful. I just love these chord progressions. :-)

You have a great feel in this piece. It's very heartfelt and with a layed back blues feel for sure. Piano sounds great. Good use of dynamics, too. I like it just the way it is. I don't think I would change anything to this. :-)

Awesome introduction. I like the countermelody at :44 that you introduced and then returned to. This really builds your song. Your remix is very nice work. :-)Wonderful message for 2007, too.

Cute! High tech production. :-)

It's complex somewhat and the pitch is off in places. But, you have completed some challenging nice string lines. I am not familiar with Audiacity. Combining so many tracks from different songs may present more intonation adjustments. Fundamentals that just need a little brushing up. Good work!:-)

Great job for your first remix. Congratulations! 2:14 to the end is especially nice sounding to me. :-)

Yes, it is made with your heart! Great beat, down to earth feel. I like your style much with this song. :-)

Roberto, Do you have equipment already? E-mail works well on this site, too so you might want to switch that on. Plus, check out all the threads that may relate to beginners for more insight.

I personally, just jumped in with Garageband. It was quite easy to click and drag tracks that you download of this site. Then it's alot of experimenting with what you feel sounds good. Sometimes you might be overwhelmed that's ok. Most of the time though it's a very creative process. Enjoy the good feeling.

Either way, it's a beautiful way to grasp musical ideas and to make something new out of something existing, something that has been taken apart and disassembled for us remixers to try to put back into something new again.

Sounds like you have musical experience or knowledge, too. That's good if you do.

Everyone here is very helpful, too. Do no be afraid to ask.

Good luck Roberto let me know if you have more questions. Most of all enjoy and have fun.

Thanks Reini, Backstage Superstarz, too.

Thanks Oskar for your kind words. Appreciate that much!

Susy1214

:-)

Very reflective and very well produced. Outstanding quality musically speaking. :-)

Cool remix! Very original. Whale singing is very interesting. Good luck with your next project, too. :-)

A lot of interesting things happening here. I like your combinations, textures, and timbre you have chosen for this piece.

Cool! Nice work. Relaxed. Just need the Jacuzzie though, the snow and the mountains!! Keep up the good work! Don't forget the beautiful stars. :-)

Modern day music box sample. Like a cartoon to me. What happened, I don't know. But it's cute and maybe cynical sort of. A lot you leave up to the imagination. I liked the drums. Psychological spark which is very interesting.

Nice work. Like the length. Short and sweet.

:-)

Awesome. :-)

Thanks bunches!!!!::-x

Nice adjustment of the piano. Feels like it's live. Very live feel here with your placement of sounds and percussion. Very progressive jazz feel here. Excellent. :-)

Fun! I could hear this in a swing style jazz band for many bands to perform. Love the horn section. Great job!!:-)

Sounds like a "Bullfrog" waking up from a long Winter in the beginning. Just kidding!! Great guitar solo with very orignial piano countermelody. Very nice work and love the bell of Sant Marti de Provencals in Barcelona. Wow!!! what an added touch. :-)

Almost felt like "Canon in D" in the beginning. Another favorite song of mine.

Dramatic piece. Well done. Love the chimes you have added. Calming feel that is very pleasing. :-)

Beautiful. Has a "round" sort of a feel in the beginning. Lullaby like. Very tranquil, dreamy feel. Very nice chord progressions. You're doing great and keep up the good work. I especially like the change in percussion at around 3:20 to the end. :-)

I enjoyed working with the hand clasp element, too. You have some very interesting things happening here. Very focused on the rhythmic structure throughout this piece. I enjoyed this all 9:41 worth. :-)

I think this is very interesting and I like the combination together. Interesting how well each music melodic line complements each other. Inspirational work. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Really exciting production. Five stars here. Great use of dynamics, project management really shines through here. A funky jazz style is always a favorite for me. :-) :-)

Great remix. Nice castanet. Made me go back to listen again and find it. Awesome. :-)

I like this much. Way to go. You're on the the right track!:-)

Sounds like you worked with the tracks of the piece only perhaps on this piece? I like what you did. Nice work with tempo. This is a great piece to learn with. :-)

Timbre and rhythm choices together make it a very percussive piece. Maybe a little more volumn in the vocals and more volumn contrast with the percussion would help the listener to grasp better. Nice. :-)

Intense.

Interesting concept. Nice work with the quartet. I always love listening to the past and present together. Amazing at 1:25 how the two songs mellowed together. Very pleasant remix. Even at 2:00 what a combination again. Great work!

Very blended, interwoven countermelody lines used throughout. Introduction is quite nice. What about lengthening it yet with the chorus? You have a great natural ability for creating music. Great work! :-)

Beautiful song Loveshadow, my sympathy to you. I too lost someone special a few years ago during this time. It is a cherished time though to remember a loved one.

Wow.that's super. Innovative remx. Well done. :-)

I meant thank you Peter, for sharing the beautiful melody. :-)

Great work for your very first remix! Congratulations. Keep up the good work. :-)

The music fits the title for the remix especialy at the end of the piece. I really felt like I was near a kitchen sink. :-] Your music takes people to different places! And it is very creative.

I like the texture of this piece. Somewhat softened timbre which is pleasing to the ear. Dynamics are well adjusted and the piano sounds great. Really nice work. :-)

It's really a miracle to be able to connect in this way across so many miles with so many gifted and talented people in music and music writing. This is a very beautiful remix and you should be very, very pleased with this song and the "free spirit" to give freely to many people to enjoy this song with. Congratulations to you all. Loveshadow, it's a very beautiful melody. Thanks for sharing it. :-x :-x :-x :-x :-x

Outstanding remix with a complete music style and form. More traditional in style which works nicely with this piece. Great job!:-)

Awesome. I like it. Introduction is great. Intriguing. :-)

Well, I guess it's nice to hear it again. :-) Peaceful.

Nice feel, I might like to hear the bass an octave lower though. Upper end sounds good, fun!:-)

Very relaxing to listen to this. I appreciate that much. Like the laid back tempo. Percussion orchestration is awesome. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Fantastic arrangement, musically expressive style. Complete musical composition with emotional intensity. Excellent! :-)

Now that's unique and I like it. Great style with new introspection, upbeat.:-)

Thukol, I just tried that myself and found that very remarkable and hard to believe. I like it. Grasping new concepts and overall it's an enhancement to what I put together. Thanks for sharing that! Emser "Demon Days remix is very wonderful. :-)

Oh this such a fun piece!! What a wonderful job you did! It's exactly what I wanted to hear this evening. Love the melodic tuba line. What a cute story, too. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Very orginal and progressive new sound. I like it much especially the chorus. :-)

Beautiful.

Reminds me a little bit of the background music of the news of the competition.

I like this. I would suggest maybe to work with your dynamics a little more. I felt like there should be a crescendo midway through. Nice job with synchopation and nice job with the overlaying charactersitc of melodic phrasing. Great!:-)

A very open flowing style. Very continued themes throughout. I like how it blends together. Nice work.

In a sense that is true HaveMercy. Remix songs have a lot to do with memory. Especially if you once heard the original piece before. This would be interesting for music therapists to study. I think actually remixing is a great therapy process for many to be creative and to express their feelings.

:-) :-) :-)

I feel like my hair is standing straight up when I listen to this. Very electric with much "lightning" to generate this song to the moon and back. Like your moving bass line around 2:40. Very very, musically creative. My only advice would be that the clave or woodblock you chose needs an adjustment. Not really sure what though. Really, really great work though. :-)

Great beginning! Keep up the good work!!!:-)

That's funny I almost did a remix called "My Way" too. Your remix is good. I like the level of emotion throughout your music. I like the variation with the percussion and the long chord that you chose underlying this piece. Nice work!:-)

Ich glaube ich habt ein 5 star vorher gemacht. :-)

I think you have a very intersting concept here. I hear a beginning to something, a restful place maybe. I feel you are very creative. Keep working with this because I feel there is more to this. Great job.:-)

Congratulations on such your first remix.:-) You did it and you did it well:-) Very impressive and tranquil sounding version to me. :-)

Very nice quality work done here!! Outstanding work with harmony. Sort of a mellow remix for one to reflect upon. Is that really oboe? Almost sounds like trumpet to me at the end. :-)

Nice progress with this. :-)

As I listen to it more, I like it more though.and the ending is getting better each time I listen to this because now I am anticipating the ending. And when I hear that last note it sounds better each time. Very unique very good and very nice quality. Maybe I would suggest people to listen to this a few times before rating it. I think it is quite good. I like the dynamics throughout this piece, too. :-) :-) :-)

It's complex and very withdrawn in feeling with chaos followed by dread is what I feel. Atonal music plus some tonal mixed in here and there. Sort of waiting for a resolve throughout the piece. Finally there's an ending or cadence of that last final high note that is so out of ordinary but I rather liked that and yet that wasn't exactly totally resolving either. Interesting work. :-)

Thanks wordman. Not sure what happend but it fell off to the wayside for me. I worked on a remix prior to that and used the rest of the message, but it was somewhat a shorter version and I didn't submit it. File size has been somewhat challenging and this was already almost there.

This is so great that I just want to come back and listen to it again! Great job!:-)

Very refreshing, professional remix, very artistic. :-)

Nice harmony. Reminds me a little bit of barbershop harmony. Dynamics are very nice and I like the guitar solo you added. Nice style and very interesting the whole way through! :-)

I like this. I like the arrangement how you sectioned it. Also I like how you put in echo's in places, how you worked the lead vocal with the chorus is great, too. Nice work! Maybe the ending could have been just a little bit long though. :-)

I like this. Nice harmonica is it you playing? If so you should be proud and happy about that gift your father gave you. Did you ever get a guitar? Anyways. nice job. nice chords in here. My first remix also included a harmonica intro (just loops) and then it went to the trash!!!. This is much much better. :-)

Very interesting and you have much experience I can tell. Great work!:-)

Beautiful, soft style, very melodic. Very nice remix. :-)

Really nice work, jazz style I really like, trumpets great (trumpet person here), research so very interesting, very inspiring piece you have shared.:-)

Whoops.that's encouragement with a "c".

Great comments and thank you for the enouragement. :-)

Refreshing.artistic.classically well done. :-)

If music brings forth an emotion then music has been grasped by the listener whose ears are now open.

Thanks both! I'm not sure I really like it either. Sort of repetitive and too loud in places. Oh well. that's the way it goes sometimes. Not sure if I will work more on this or not. :-x

Nice job. Your innovative rhythmic structure is super. Reminds me a little bit of one of my early favorites, Emerson, Lake and Palmer in places.

I think you did just really great. :-)

Good going!!!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Thanks again to all.and I truly respect your comments. :-] ::-) :-)

Beautiful chord progressions and professionally dones. Enjoyed this much:-)

Lovely work. Such inspiration and tranquil style. :-)

Very nice remix and wonderful phrasing, is a nice compliment piece to the original with textures and timbre well designed. Nice orginal guitar line you have added, too. :-)

Nice work on this. Something new for me I guess I missed this one at contest time. Great bass line work. :-)

This is interesting. I would bring out the vocals alittle bit more for the listener. Percussion maybe a little less in places. Nice concepts and this piece has continuity. Very nice job. :-) Stretching out the ending longer would be nice, too. :-)

Nice job.:-)

Thanks to all for your wonderful kind words, response and encouragement. I truly appreciate this.

Radiotimes thank you for your suggestion. The tempo I chose was 114bpm which is the same as the original. The ending does go into an improvisation section which I'm not exactly sure if that's where you are referring to for the abrupt tempo change? Working with the tempo was challenging for me, new and a little frustrating too at times.

I listened to the original again. What a great piece it is. Such creativity. It helps to listen to the original and to learn and grasp new concepts.

Thanks you all so much!!:-)

Very orginal. Very nice with very much orchestration and probably one of the most complex in chord progressions and style. Great work and really I thought you did much with the percussion. I think if anything maybe bring out the dynamics just a little more at the ending would sit well for me but I like the softer last few measure you have included. Great piece.:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Interesting, sympathetic, sounds fitting though at this softer dynamic for this style. Chord progressions are the highlight of the piece and very moving. Enjoyed the chimes.

Very professional outstanding style. :-)

I really, really like this. Very complete from start to finish. Great work. I like the snare drum rolls towards the end and the ending is very relaxing. Really brings the listener into the piece the whole way through. I find the triangle is interestingly used throughout the piece. Also enjoy the key you chose for this and melodic counterpoint throughout. Dynamcs are great. :-)

Wow. very interesting.kept me captivated the whole way through and really did not seem long at all. Really liked halfway through the piece to the end. Very original.

:-)

Very nice countermelodies. Interwoven parts and good exchange of vocals back and forth. I might hear the ending note fade out a little bit longer is all I would recommend. Great work!!:-)

I like the chord progressions you chose. :-)

Fantastic and very inspirational quality in your remix. Nice work!:-)

Great job!!:-)

Captivating with musical style. Anticipating for the listener. I enjoy your piece and very nice work. :-)

Very refreshing remix bringing in a glimpse of musical style from the '70's pop style. Very artistic piece. :-)

I believe you intentionally chose this to be atonal? I like it. :-)

Fun remix you have created. Very nice. :-)

I think a key change around 1:40 up a half step would be neat, too. Really nice piece though. :-)

Very creative.nice work.:-)

Great energy here! Possibly I might suggest a live track for the percussion for more creativity that lends to your Yamaha guitar rock style you have created. Great uplifting rock style that creates a whole new aspect of this piece. :-)

Congratulations.many happy notes to follow.very uplifting work with much inspiration!:-)

You did a great job. I wish I could have picked more than one winner. This rocks.:-)

I think you should have won!!!!Anyway you were a winner on my chart!!! Keep up the good work. :-)

You imagined this played at a club and it works well for that. Nice mix. Upbeat and with an edge to it. Sharp.:-)

I like this. Yeah mighty Gibson 335!!!!!:-)

Sounds like there was a lot of original effort in this. The drums sound great to me. :-)

I like 1:30 -1:40 especially, very striking and very well placed in the piece. Very nice.

:-)

The long held note section is very interesting. The sections before and after are also nice. I enjoyed the Wurlitzer in the last section of the piece.

I just think it would be so neat. I am hearing all sorts of possibilities for this song as a marching band music arrangement. Maybe Peter has already thought of that. If so, it would be very neat to have some new arrangements made for young people in the world.

Great remix with excellent percussion, rhythm and a very progressive, urban style and feel. Thanks!:-)

Like how you faded out at the end especially. Kept it simple and that sometimes that is nice than a really, really busy piece. :-)

I think you did fine. My only suggestion would be that phrasings of music could be longer perhaps. The brain I believe, in music wants to to hear something over again that is often quite the same or in other words repeated. You have so many different ideas in one piece, maybe just try to relate it back and forth more. Great job. Nice ending especially. Like the descending bass line at the end and nice repeat on that line. :-)

Is there a vocal track underneath this? Can barely hear it or make out the words.

You should be writing your own music. or do you already? This would be so cool all on it's owns with new words. Another winner of a song. :-)

WOW!! That's boss! :-)

I like this! Bass is neat and I would recommend to bring it out more. :-)

Nice quality and very unique. Synergie Marimba sounds great. :-)

One nice thing about this is a person can sing along with it and that I like. Compared to the other pieces this on captivates a new audience and the listener anticipates the key changes. :-)

I still like this much. Very down to earth feeling. I take it the monkey landed safely back to earth? Nice and tranquil. A lullaby version. This should be higher in the charts I think.:-)

Very interesting, has that "Peter Gabriel" quality or style. I think you did a great job at this for your remix. :-)

Reminds me a little bit of "The Bad Plus". Bass and drums would need to be added to round things out a bit. Nice work though. :-)

That's cool Patrick that your wife's parents are from Iowa, too. Greetings! Good luck to you in the contest!:-)

Still very impressive compared to the rest.:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Melodic line somewhat lacking midway through and to the end.

Sounds a little like it might go into a James Bond theme.

This is cute and fun, but somewhat far away from the original characteristic style of the piece.

I like this. I would like to use this as a music therapy piece because it's very tranquil. I like to listen to this in between all the other remix's as sort of a "ear cleaning" piece. Sort of brings me back to a "place". There should be more than just a first prize. So many good pieces. Now I feel better after hearing this piece. :-)

This would sound great on Chill.

Beautiful sound Denis Corboz on trumpet.

I still really like this. Just came back from a marching band competition and I still think this could be scored and arranged for marching band somehow. Be such a neat drum line arrangement. :-)

Nice crisp sound with innovative concept. Flows well from begining to end. Wonderful dynamics and a great piece. :-)

More modern feel than the rest I've heard so far. Cutting edge. Nice work. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Perfect remix for electronic dance category. Makes me want to just get up and dance!:-)

I think this is really good. :-)

Good remix, some cool ideas.:-)

This is great! WIth much creativity and drive. :-)

Interesting how you took the "circle of fifth's" for a spin with this. Sounds here a little like Chris Spheeris whose music I enjoy. Nice. Heard a little of the beginning of the "Bonanza" theme though at around 4:10 which also sounded like the tempo was a little off.

Interesting. Sounds like Rod Stewart singing at times.

More length in phrasing perhaps but overall you know your stuff here quite well and nice job. :-)

I'm listening to this again and it's just so nice to hear something different and something that is so well musically written with such grace and style. Thank you. This is a favorite of mine.

Dynamics need to be adjusted at all levels. Vocals are somewhat hidden.

Good tight arrangement, fundamentals in mix are great sounding and possiblities with this are many or just good as is, too. :-)

Somewhat of an "angelic" sound with the chord progressions. Enjoyed this much, creates a somber peaceful emotion within.

It is great!:-)

Very balanced and in sync with the original. :-)

I could see this going with a video. What fun! Thanks for a touch of class and charm added.

One thing about this piece is the tempo is dynamic and energetic and I like that. Somewhat of a feeling of triumph throughout this remix. Great job!

A calming remix compared to the original. This contrast is very interesting. The flowing countermelody throughout the entire remix gives it continuity. Excellent use of dynamics. :-)

Very nice.beautiful trumpet.a top ten in my book.

lustig! Sehr Gut!:-)

I wonder what this would sound like with a female voice(s) line added. This is very beautiful. :-) Just an idea. I like what you have going here very much.

Really neat ending with a very silent whisper. :-)

This theme you have chosen is very professional sounding. The length of this piece is very complete, too. Wonderful phrasing and background harmony. Inspiring composition. :-)

That's cool! It's going to be great I believe. :-)

Beautiful counterpoint melody with the guitar lines. Interesting connection to Enos. Well written and I like this. :-)

Clear and crisp, with heartfelt reggae spirit.

Is this 6/8 the whole way through? Sounds like maybe some additional measures in a different time signature are used. A very interesting and musically creative work.

Congratulations on a fine work of music. This is a very fine remix incorporating a few themes together into a very artistic work of music. Very unique.

I think it's the strong rhythm section you have that brought this idea to my mind as a possible arrangement for college football shows. That and new music arrangements are always needed. This one would work great. Maybe that's not what you were thinking about at the time. It is a compliment though because many popular songs end up there.

This seems to stay in step with the original in "feeling". It's good to recognize what "was" and what "is" in a remix to carry forward with the original music and feeling. You are creative and I feel you have carried forward the musical style of the original piece. Great work.:-)

One of the best. Very professional. Ausgezeichnet!

You have something going good here. I like how "and the news is breaking" was delivered midway through this piece. Nice soft piano at the end which gave it nice contrast from the energetic beginning. Great!

This is really very upbeat and very well composed with good form. I really like the ascending background string line or this could also be a choir voice, too. Very nice.

What a fun piece!!

Nice job. In one day, too. That's great.I like the smooth melodic lines you seem to run gently one into the next. Ending is very interesting.

This sounds like the beginning to a marching band version for football games.

Great for getting everyone fired up at games. Nice addition of the snare drum line. Cool ending. Great work in general.

I really picked up on this halfway through. Seems like two different themes. What if you started in the middle section and went from there. Very interesting. Good work.

This is a happy upbeat song! Something I would enjoy listening to cruising on the highway. :-)

This remix flows very well musically from start to finish. I really like the counter harmony voices. Also like the tempo that you chose. Very nice. Sometimes the sign of a good piece of work is when it catches the subconscious level of thinking or in my words, "spacing out" or "relaxing" and enjoying the music I am listening to at the moment. Great job editing to a shorter version.

Wow! This is great. I hear triumph over the "monkey". Really liked the ending with the nature sounds of birds singing. Makes it a peaceful ending. :-)

Great ending!

This is good. You are on the right track.

I like this remix because I can recognize the orginial melody lines which in a remix I believe is important. Nice upbeat tempo.

This is very original and a very outstanding remix. I like the vocal octave leaps.

This is really what a remix is all about. I recognize the music yet in a different style. I would like to hear a different ending maybe, not sure what but something that takes it back to remembering the original song. "less we forget" -Very nice though.

Very nice. Very nice counterpoint and harmony. Love the full choir sound. This piece is great the way it is. Wonderful job!

Very interesting and creative. This piece I feel flows from the original to today with the creativity you have added.

Very hard and with that I would like to hear more lower tones in the bass then I think I could grasp the whole content better.
